    They say my router is 3 years old and are willing to send me a new one free however would tie me in for another 12 months?

    They aint willing to solve the problem, no1 has been in touch!!! And retentions were happy for me to cancel!!

    Your ISP cannot wave a magic wand if the problem is in your property!

    A week ago in post #44 you informed us that if you "turned off my cordless phone from socket and ran test again I got (3mB)".

    For your speed to increase by such an amount simply by removing your cordless phone suggests that it may be causing unwanted interference, resulting in the SKY DLM increasing your noise margin and thus reducing your connection speed.

    Disconnect this cordless phone, unplug it's mains supply and use a corded handset or no phone temporarily.

    Post your routers line stats daily. I'm not sure how long the DLM will take but if this is the problem, the DLM should gradually decrease your noise margin resulting in a faster sync speed.

    Or is that too much effort for you to try!
