Just done a hotwire test with cat5 laptop to router made no different to speed test (2mb) however when I turned off my cordless phone from socket and ran test again I got (3mB) does this indicate anything?0

My Sky say they cant check my speed etcPhone in the morning. I spoke to them yesterday morning and got through straight away.

Well it could but only sure way is to use the test socket as I showed you yesterday. Have you done so yet?"Line check not supported"

Gets faster after unplugging the phone, try unplugging the sky box also.

You could get your provider to do a check on your line.0 -
On the phone to Sky and they say my speed should be between 6-12MB in terms of my original agreement.0

Done all the tests etc, they have confirmed the fault is at their end and my issue has gone to their resolutions team and will be resolved between 3-5 days?0
