Morning all,
The snow has finally arrived here so planning a day at home until this evening when I'm going to my family's for dinner.
Forgot to say last night I cooked a new meal, nothing fancy but it was lovely - tomato and pepper sausages, baked sweet potato and peas
Hope you all have safe, warm daysLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Morning all
Still feeling pretty chilled out today. Quite literally because it's freezing outside :rotfl: I have my tutoring this morning, and then weather permitting we'll go and visit my mam who will be a good listening ear and feed us for free
Other than that I'm choosing a new crochet project to start and going to get some exercise. And try not to think too much about work.
Have a good day everyoneNot giving up

Time to take back control

Yum Fmess that sounds great.
Have a good time at your mums CCL.
Had another bad night with the little one. She wasn't able to stay asleep for more than an hour at a time. I don't know if she just feels the cold too much. It isn't hot in our home overnight and it snowed last night. But I don't want to risk wrapping her up too much for safety reasons. My OH very kindly took her downstairs around 6 and let me sleep till 8.
We need to go out for groceries today as stocks are low but it is so cold. This is the bit where I regret not having a huge store of food in
Have a great day everyone.

Hi all,
Good morning! Chilly weekend here. Had a bit of a lie in this morning but as soon as I finish posting I need to crack on with the laundry and the cleaning and then the weekly shop.
Sorry I didn't get to post for the last 2 days and I have 2 pages of posts to catch up reading. My poor feet have recovered from all the walking and slush last Thursday. Friday was just spent doing paper works in the office. In contrast to chaotic drive duet to the snow on Thursday, Friday's commute was a breeze. I even managed to do a school run for my niece. It was NSD no 10 on Friday.
The family went to a different church yesterday (Darlington) where I was invited to speak. We had a fantastic day and the children loved the whole service. We enjoyed a free sumptuous lunch. When we got home we were still stuffed with the big lunch so we just had some nibbles (free supper too!!!) I did another batch of hand bags to be to use up my fabric stash. Manage to make 4 bags and an apron for my niece.
Was thinking of walking early this morning (a little bird told me it's usually a good time to do find road kills early Sunday morning near a Metro station) but woke up late. Will try and put that theory to the test one of these days.
Have a good day and enjoy the rest of the weekend."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -
Oh forgot to say I clocked in another NSD yesterday. So I'm up to NSD 11. Not sure if I could make it up to 21 by the end of the month but I will give it a good try."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150

Post script no. 2 sorry
.
I thought I could add another £9.45 to my EF as I had some money credited from Shopitise but last night I found out I couldn't because I need that to cover the increase in my phone/internet bill. BT has increased my monthly package to £40. I am absolutely fuming. I used to pay only £25 a month for Internet and phone but I found out that my internet package has run out on the 7th of January so they have auto-enrolled me to a more expense contract but my phone package is not due to change until June (apparently when I signed up with them last year I unknowingly agreed to a 12 months contract for the Internet but 18months for the phone). So I have rang sky and signed up to a new 12 months contract (£21.40 per month for Internet and phone with evening and weekend calls). They will do the account transfer with BT. Rant over.
I felt slightly guilty about how I dampened the enthusiasm of the SKY sales person on the phone. When I told him I'm thinking of going back to them, he said he has a fantastic (!!!) package for me for only £39.40) I said "Before we go any further I just want you to know I only pay £25 a month with my current provider and I do not want to pay more than £25 and more importantly I don't want to pay for things I don't need. We are not big TV watchers so we're not interested in the TV packages.) I felt like I was so mean but I just don't see the point in spending x minutes discussing things I'm not going to be interested anyway. In the end he concurred and gave me a package I am happy with. I didn't just save money, I saved time too."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -
Morning turtles!
Woke up late today so too late to go to my gym class. I woke up in the night and couldn't get back to sleep so obviously needed it. Back is killing me, not sure I will cope for another 11 nights on current mattress
Have decided I am not going to keep the boots as whilst they are the style I like they have a gold metal detail thing on the back which I hate. I am going to try and repair my current ones and if that doesn't work I will need to bite the bullet and buy a full price pair.
Am determined to kick my sugar habit and not had any since Thursday. Going to leave my purse at home during the week except on shopping day when I will leave on the boot of my car so further away from desk!
Lazy day today, going to look at a house my friend has bought near me to do up and do the changeover of guests so lots of washing. Also will list a few things on eBay. Sold two things yesterday on gumtree for £13 so that's good.

x_raphael - I feel for you, solicitors seem to still work at 17th century speed, it's like they write out a scroll then give a boy a ha'penny to deliver it.
I think this time it's been more complicated as I'm buying a leasehold, so we need additional paperwork from the free holder.
In a funny twist of fate...I met my bf the same day I went to view the flat

Any chance you could pass on the recipe??
NSD no.10 for me! Halfway there!
Absolutely - 250g plain flour, 7g yeast, pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of oil, and 200ml of warm water. Mix it all together in a bowl, then tip it out onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes. Form into a ball, then pop it back in the bowl, cover with cling film and leave it until it doubles in size. Roll it out to desired thickness and shape.
I got 2 decent sized pizzas from these quantities. I was doubting the recipes as the dough seemed really sticky, but they turned out really well. I put a little tomato puree, some herbs and mozzarella on top and cooked mine for 12 minutes each, but this will vary depending on the size and thickness.0 -
Clippy- do you have a spare duvet you can try putting underneath you for the next few days? Waking up in pain sucks.
I had another spend day yesterday because I forgot to get cigarettes on Friday gah but there is absolutely nothing in the world that I need today!Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0
