    TT mobile is moving to O2 soon....
    http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2014/11/uk-isp-talktalk-prep-switch-mobile-operators-vodafone-o2.html
    I am confused - for some (unknown) reason - nobody wants to be associated with TT - Why could that be ?
    I'm TT, so's OH, Pity TT aint, it would have made the Sim easier.:)
    When I renewed my contract, she said I was entitled to free TV, it's in my area.
    I never watch tv, but OH does,
    I declined. as I know nothing about their Tv.
    perhaps I should have accepted the offer,or, looked more into it, but, thought there would be a catch;;;
    usually is.

    If anyone wants the free mobile SIM you might be better off ordering the £3.95 package but going via Topcashback. It's a 12 month contract at £3.95 but with £68 cashback.....
    I just want a spare for car. as phone is unlocked, aint bothered about carrier.so tt offer seems like a good idea, but, not after 12 months.
    I was going to buy just a sim;
    I only use mine when I have to, to retain my credit.
    I hate phones.:mad:

    Trying to sport out post-cyber attack free 'upgrade' choice for MIL. She has phone only service-no TV or broadband. So that rules out 'broadband health check' or 'extra TV channels'. No mobile needed, so that rules out 'free SIM'. Hmm...
    The only other option is 'free Anytime calls' for 12 months. But she already has that as a (chargeable) boost. Is it too much to presume that TT will now offer her this to her free, even though she already has the service?
    If not, I suppose it would be be necessary to cancel the Anytime boost and then immediately reapply for it as a free upgrade...

    Cancelling part of a contract may incur costs? let me know what happens?

    This is a "paid for" boost - which you can cancel (giving a months notice) at any point - so why the issue of being charged for cancelling a contract ?
  • I just thought it was part of the overall contract?
  • Just got off the phone with TT and I can't have the: Unlimited UK landline or mobile calls no extra cost for 12 months because I already get that as part of my package its not an add on as anytime call boost etc, so I have gone for the films for 3 months which is the only other thing that was worth having, by the way the TV channels including films, kids, entertainment or Sky Sports free for 3 months is only 1 0f 3 ie you can choose either Films, Kids entertainment, or Sport not all as I thought ? so again none of it is worth a S???t as I said earlier TT have great skills when it comes to customer loyalty :wall:. I have less than 6 months left on my contract and in that time I shall be looking for another provider.

    When TT first made the offer - it was 12 months full package or unlimited calls 24/7 inc mobiles - with no set time limit - they have reduced this considerably to a choice of sport/movies/kids for just 3 months or 12 months free calls ....
    And they expect customers to remain loyal and happy ?

    Hi same problem as others. I too have the boost that already gives me unlimited calls, I have no desire for any of the other so called offers. Earlier I went onto live chat and "spoke" to Preeti, who confirmed if I cancel my boost today I can claim the free deal tomorrow. Have asked them to email the whole conversation and see what happens tomorrow
    Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.

    By accepting the "customer upgrade" of free calls for 12 months - are we accepting being tied in to TT for another 12 months ?
    They don't make it clear.....
