By accepting the "customer upgrade" of free calls for 12 months - are we accepting being tied in to TT for another 12 months ?
    They don't make it clear.....

Has anyone else noticed that new customers are getting a much better deal than existing customers ?
So much for thanking loyal remaining customers for staying put....

I have just signed up to TT - yes, I know they have been hacked 3 times but the deal was good:

    Free unlimited bb
    Free telephone calls 24/7
    Line rental included
    Hub delivery only (6.75)
Engineer call - free line fixing (I did not mind if new number) so 50.00 free

And all this = £12.60 per month for 12 months then 22.95 for 6 months
    18 months contract

    How could I refuse?

I was moved from Virgin to Talk Talk back in Feb when my accout was sold to them, All I have is Broadband over a BT phoneline. I have had 3 letters telling me I will be getting a free upgrade but no indication as to what it would be. I have not set up my online account so have not seen what is available, I dont really see what they can offer me and I have no need for the free sim card.

  • Can someone help me with some questions?

I have been a talktalk broadband customer for approx 4 years.
Does this mean I'm out of contract now?

If I were to accept the sim offer does that mean I'd be tying myself up again into a contract eg. Renewing for another year?

IF I am out contract and I still accept the sim, can I cancel my broadband within the next 12 months and leave them while keeping the sim? (I ask this as I've been shopping around for a new bb supplier anyway)

    Thanks
if i had known then what i know now
  • I would guess that you contract has been rolled over to continue? you will need to call them and ask.

I would assume you are on a 30 day rolling contract
