I have just received confirmation through the post that my gas has changed over to the collective fix.
But it has no mention of my electric.0 -
I have been in touch with BG and apparently the technical team are looking at my account.
The tariff shouldshow up correctly on the 16th. But all billing will be backdated to the 8th
So at least i am on the tariff now. He doesn't know why they are having problems with the accounts.0 -
I am with Sainsburys Energy and I am on the fixed August 2016 tariff I emailed Sainsburys yesterday to ask if I would get charged the exit fees and someone call Liam called me tonight to say that I would not be charged the exit fees if I changed over to Bg,so I am going start the change over tonight.0

hi, looking for some advice please.
I am currently a British gas customer (gas+elec) on their Price Promise February 2016 tariff.
I applied on the 5th for the British Gas Collective Fix December 2016 but since then have heard/received nothing.
Is this normal? My online account is still showing old tariff. Any idea when i can expect tariff to change or receive some information?
thanks .0 -

I got an email from BG about 8 days after I applied saying my switch is active on 20 th Nov and like you I was already with BG ( Sainsburys energy ).check spam email or if you ve gone for post only it will be longer.0 -
Well I've finally taken the plunge and made the switch. The only thing I will probably need to do is contact them to change my direct debit back to monthly smart billing once it's all gone over to them.0

We were British Gas customers and have switched to the Collective Fix contract. I went online last Thursday night and did it by the MSE Energy Club. The emails confirming the switch had gone ahead were issued by British Gas yesterday. We have saved £412 per annum. Very pleased with this saving. We had gone onto standard tariff fir a short period when our fix finished at the end of August. We were hoping that a good deal would come along and it did. Thanks MSE xxx0

I'm also in the position where the gas has switched but nothing heard re electricity. I'm already a BG customer and I had an email from them a week ago to say my new gas tariff is up and running. Have just called BG and was advised to switch the electricity again as something should have happened by now. How would I do this? Not through the energy club as it says I already have a switch in progress. What advice have others in this position been given? Its been about 10 days since I applied to switch. Thanks:)0
