Love this mothernerd think it just says it all.
First post I saw today and yes I agree, says it all.
I've always kept the NSK mindset even if I havent been around but I still constantly beat myself up about spending money or things not going to plan. Weirdly it helps to know you're not alone in your thoughts and feelings.
Thanks crazy cat lady, we seem to have good and bad days, it's like being on a tollarcoaster! On the good days I keep saying to myself it won't be forever and things will get easier and it won't always be a constant battles.[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j

So today the CB winged it's way to my account so I got some foodie bits we needed, fruit and yoghurt for the children. I have another evening alone so I have decided to cook myself a mushroom risotto for my tea, mushrooms were reduced and I dont have Parmesan so I am going to chuck in one of the ends that I've kept in the freezer to add that flavour
I'm getting sick of eating rubbish because I've lost interest in cooking just for me, I don't see the point but I'm making the effort.
Gas man is coming to look at the boiler today I do hope that won't cost too much.
Got another OT shift at work lined up for next week and I'm about to start planning for next month also, determined to start December in a positive way.
My three things are
My free bottle of prosecco arrived
It's not so cold today

In other news, life has got in the way rather over the last week. Time is out of joint as Hamlet says
seriously, I start each day full of good intentions to post and some how the tail wags the dog every time. I have been following along though Turtles and it seems some good progress is being made this month.
Love to everyone

Hello everyone
Not posted for a couple of days and not had a chance to catch up!
Thought I would pop on quickly and say the three things I'm grateful for today:
1. Heating (although they could do with putting it on a bit higher at work!!)
2. Having a job that is indoors
3. Lovely work colleagues for sharing biscuits with me

Weather okay again so no heating on today.
Bob you have just had a baby - staying on your feet is a small miracle, cut yourself some slack (if you keep trying to be superwoman you'll end up a knackered old lady like me).
Today I am grateful for cooking (lovely butter bean casserole, onion soup and Mexican rice salad), for leftovers and the internet (waited for hours for the new supplier installer to come but worth it in the end).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Ha. I can't think of anyone who suits that description less than you Mothernerd!

Evening turtles x Another Nsd here as only spent on after school club which is budgeted for.
All meals from home and lunch from home to work, gave our fridge freezer to a friend who's daughter was just starting out in a new home we should prob have charged and sold elsewhere but I am trying to do a few kind things and she will have a lot more use than an extra few toys my son really don't need.. So that's another one of my eighty items gone.
A few quidco payments all confirmed together today so another £16 in the earnings pot. I haven't a clue how December will pan out doing this challenge but I know that I will be in the red if I don't rejoin. Just wish company's would stop upping credit limit, thankfully I don't need anything. We had confirmation of switching to BT tele broadband etc, so can claim my £100 sainsbury vouchers which will pay for my Xmas shop, and monthly payments drop from £70 to £35.
Two more shifts in work this week then three off, lots of local free festive going on over the next few weekends, need to keep track of spending and just need to buy a gift voucher out of this week's wages and a trip to shops for some clothes for middle son and my shopping is finished but that has to wait for Nov pay. I used to hate that Hubby got paid end of Dec but now I really love that we don't start new year with no pay and huge debts on credit cards for presents. Anyway enough waffle.
1/ Being woke out of a horrid nightmare by alarm for work 2/Another dry day, we all got to school and work dry. 3/ That middle son has finally gone back to work after a month off with a sore back. Added bonus is my eldest and his fiance and friends are able to go travelling to Rome for a few days and are enjoying life..NST October #24.

I'm currently working on it and will put it up probably on Thursday evening as I'm away over the weekend.
A NSD to report today so that's me up to 13 for the month. I picked up the presents that I'd ordered so I need to review my list and see what else I need to buy.
Today I'm grateful for
- getting through most of my to-do list at work (although it seems to be getting longer)
- washing/ironing/cleaning all caught up on
- all you lovely turtlesMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
