Hi all.
Not much going on here really, everything is within budget which is good. I am still waiting for my energy refund, they have processed it finally and have taken it off my account but say it can take 14 days to reach my bank - what a joke.
DD brought home a letter yesterday for a school trip in December to a castle (she's already been to it twice), it's £13.50 but weirdly if after the trip is paid they have £5 per child or more left in the pot we will get some money back, any less than £5 it stays in the pot - never heard of this before.
DS is also going to the panto next month which is £13 (they haven't told us yet I just saw it on ParentPay, they always leave it till a week or so before they want the money:mad:). So including the £50 installment towards DS's residential next year that is £76.50 in school trips to pay out:eek:.
I am working today but will hopefully find time to cycle later plus dog walking. Tea today is hm pork and apple casserole with mashed potato.
Oh I almost forgot, DD signed up for a 9 week Master at Arms course yesterday, I think it is £2/week or something. I don't begrudge that as these are amazing opportunities for very little money.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Good Morning,
Today might not be an SFD as I will have to see if I find some star stickers for DS reward chart. We have to start doing sth to keep him sleeping in his own bed and improve morning routine.
Tried my home-made halloumi last night, fried over chicken pasta, and is was delicious.
Last nights telly was scary, It's all just bad news nowadays that makes me really scared for my kids future and wonder why I worry about the lounge being dusty. Messes with your head and priorities.
Dolly, that's ridiculous isn't it. Where does that money go for 14 days. It's all electronic now and should be there right then. It's always like that, when we pay it's gone instantly, the other way round takes ages.
As we are using our credit with EDF they are trying to reduce my DD from 70 to 64 pounds. Will phone them today to leave it at 70.
Anyway, have a nice day....DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Just had a look at after school and breakfast club at our catchment school. 400 quid a month (11 after school a day, 7 breakfast club a day)!!! DS is paying less going to nursery just now. I thought this would get better once one starts school. We can't afford to keep paying money like that. At the same time it would be impossible to be at the school gates till 9 and then at 3 again even a few days. How do people work with school aged children? Sorry rant overDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Hello everyone,
Sorry I forgot to post yesterday. Things have been a little emotional and tense here as DH is working some stupid hours and it's really taking its toll also I have decided to give up the voluntary work I was doing at DDs school because it wasn't really helpful, I wanted up to date classroom experience not up to date how to photocopy/laminate/wash up/cut out things practice, all the other parent helpers seem to get specific tasks but I felt that we're starting to take the mickey slightly and actually I'm needed in my home more than anything!
So I'm on my third NSD in a row! So that's one good thing I'm really pleased with that!
However my bank account is looking tragic, DH still hasn't paid me the money he owes me and I hate nagging but I really need him to.[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j

Hiya.
Yesterday ended up spending on replacement tooth heads for my electric toothbrush, don't want rotten teeth.
Last night, collected my radiator and then found out I had got a flat tyre. Garage was too busy to fix it until today so put some air in it to get me home, another SFD lost. Screw in tyre - only charged 15 pounds phew.
Got the wardrobe delivered last night, builder working at my friends house dropped it around. Wouldn't take any money off me so gave him a bottle of wine instead. Now however extremely heavy wardrobe in my hallway and I won't attempt to lift it upstairs even with someone helping. So need a gang of fit muscle bound men? Any one got any? It's on wheels when it gets around 2 curves in the stairs so can then push into place.
Need petrol today and some bread. Veg would be good as well
Avoided the tv last night just makes you so sad watching it. Must be hard for the families to cope with the sheer horror of their loved ones dying in such a fashion. . Do fear for the future with extremist attacks like that.
Dolly how expensive have school trips got? Must be difficult to say No as well.
Well think Storm Barney has arrived here, wind has picked up and rain has started. Stay safe folks.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

That's insane, how many hours is that for? Do they get a snack or anything?
Would you consider using a nanny share or an au pair? Or are there any parents of your DC who could pick up a few days a week?[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j
