Fmess :grouphug: sending hugs your way. I do hope that the weekend will wipe your blues away.
Congratulations ccl! I saw your post about your DFD on another thread and I've been waiting all day for your to announce it here without me spoiling it. So pleased for you.
Yay to your ys haul, misstara It's been quite a while since my last ys shopping due to my recent crazy shifts and my colleagues keep asking me what bargains I have had so far and I feel like I've let them down when I tell them I haven't been ys shopping. Hoping to do it soon. Maybe on Sunday afternoon if I'm not too knackered from my night shift on Saturday night. Fingers crossed.

Me again. I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd reconcile the bank account and the budget and I'm so excited to find spare £22.07 in the account. Before I could change my mind, I have moved £20 to the EF, taking us up to £1227.13. Can't wait to see what spare £££ I can throw into the EF next week."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150

Thanks applemuncher for the link to the turtle explanation, I do indeed feel like a brave little turtle this week.
NSD 2/15 Need to do better on this one.
I'm getting an hour's walk every day and the meal plan is working out beautifully.

Today we have dance lessons to go to. Last time we went, 2 weeks ago, I went for a run. But today I am feeling the kettlebell swings a LOT! My own fault, I know! Dh wants to go in to town, but dd and I will come back home and make some clothes for her dolls and he can mooch round the shops on his own. He has his list and can be trusted...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
CCL - a massive well done to you and your family.
apple  to your kettle bell workout.
Fmess:eek: to your naughty doggie.
DH has just set off to collect our Tesco order, it's not a huge order, just enough to tide us over until a full shop on Wednesday (our normal shopping day).
It is raining here and very dark, I was hoping to get the kids out cycling today so am hoping it clears up. I decided not to run yesterday and did a T25 workout at home instead, my calves are aching quite nicely this morning as are my arms.
I put my first ever item on freecycle yesterday afternoon and had it collected last night - wow. I couldn't believe the speed of it all. I got rid of a huge canvas caravan awning which was given to us but we never used it due to the weight, it was taking up a lot of space and I'm glad to see the back of it and very happy that someone else wanted it.
I am making hm pizza for tea tonight (Friday is pizza night but I didn't have everything in) but will need to call at the shop for wine for me.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Good afternoon.
Not been up to much to be honest. The joys of nightshift means that I have a grand total of four spend-free days.
Three things I am grateful for:
* That (despite being rubbish at it), I actually enjoy studying and have the opportunity to do this at work.
* My family. Spending time with my mum and dad, my OH sending me lovely texts and making me hot water bottles so the bed was cosy when I got home on Thursday and Friday mornings.
Who needs money to feel good and make romantic gestures.
* My childhood. I am grateful for the way I was raised and that I have inherited most of my Dad's traits (even if I did end up with a couple of dud ones).
A bit out of touch as I wrote most of this last night then forgot to post it before I left.
I know two people are now debt-free but I will look properly and congratulate them shortly.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91
