  • Well my first day of the month has been a spend day. DD took part is a sports comp and it cost me £5 to watch. She didn't qualify and got both kicked and punched in the head for her efforts! But it's great experience for her and she will know what to expect next time!

Got a last minute booking for a christening today so managed to nip out in between DDs events and get that set up.

Today I am grateful for DD still being in one piece and bouncing back, for people giving my new(ish) business a chance, for the roof over my head.

Today I am grateful for my loving family, my sister being one of my best friends and my lovely doggies, who are keeping me warm at night!

Didn't go to the cinema in the end as OH has a migraine so I have started the clearing out of 80 items. I have been going through my wardrobe over the last week or so as I have lost weight since going gf and a lot of my clothes are now far too big. Had a look in the bag and I had 11 items in there. I have now added two dresses, a pair of jeans and also 6 books so up to 20/80. Will drop it off at the charity shop once the bag is a bit fuller.

  • Just a quick post.. I am thankful for a gorgeous day in Wales, hubby for cooking a lovely roast for when I came home from work and for the giggles and smiles off my 8 year old son at bedtime.

  • Late check in from me tonight. Everything was going according to plan until my sister rang me at half past seven telling me that our dad was en route to A&E in an ambulance after collapsing in the pub (not drunk for once - he'd only been there about 10 minutes). So I got dressed, left the kids with dh and strict instructions to go to bed on time, picked my sister up then drove 25 miles to the hospital they'd taken him to. Remembered to take a couple of cans of pop but still had to pay £3 to park so lost my NSD... He's ok, but has been referred to a TIA clinic, and we didn't leave hospital till midnight. By the time we got him home and settled in it was very late indeed. I am going to be rough in the morning... :(
    Things I am grateful for:
    1. My dad's had a scare but he's ok
    2. It's brought me and my sister closer together
    3. Kids did exactly what I asked and went to bed on time. Gorgeous :D

ccl sorry to hear about your dad's scare, glad he's ok.

Long day for me today - an early shift for 2nd job followed by a late shift at usual job. Lunch is prepared and I've got plenty of snacks so it should be a NSD.

This is all brand new to me so I'm giving it my best shot...

Did the weekly food shop yesterday and came in £10 under budget...score straight away. :D

I'm aiming for 15 NSDs, I don't keep track of these so not sure how much I have usually but this seems doable. NSD 0/15

I always take lunch to work, hoping this will be easy. :D

The decluttering is going well, nothing actually gotten rid of yet but the pile is mounting.

Toiletries and cleaning products being used up.

Meal plan done, batched meals done. :D

Helping others...I do it every day in my job...does that count?

2 outings, no idea yet but exciting to plan.

I have an hour long walk to town and back every day so need to make sure I keep that up and don't take the bus.

My charity of choice will be the local foodbank, it's so worrying that people are going without.

The £80 will probably not happen but I'll try.

3 new habits...try and stay awake past 9.30pm, try to sleep past 4am and phone my parents more regularly.

And finally I'm grateful for my OH, our lovely home and my gorgeous tom cat. :D

    Morning All

Can I join in please after lurking for a few months and just making the odd comment?

I'll sort my targets and that out later when I get in from work as I need to take the dog out now and make sure the kids are getting ready.

CCL - pleased to hear your dad's ok.

    Have a good day all
