    Hi All,

    #2 checking in.

    Fund 2 - £130 added - new total £4121.92 aka 45.80%

Although I've added to fund 3, I think we can ditch this one please Helen. It's not really an emergency fund for the car just a maintenance pot so I've decided to stop updating that here.

Should be back in a few days with a final update for 2017. (got a RS maturing and should get a few quid interest out of it).

For the moment, I am super happy to have hit 45% before the end of the year.

    keep on keeping on everyone.

    Dobbi :D

    Hi everyone.

No updates but I found these that I thought were helpful. I like a visual aid and thought some of you might too.

  • Hey Everyone....

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments and words and offers of help....I'm doing better this Week and in particular today....so I'm hoping that I'll have a few good days and that things will be easier for a little while...

I hope you ALL have lovely Plans for Christmas...I'm staying at home and relaxing with Family although there is a very slight possibility that I'll be doing some Night Shift Work during Christmas but I think it's unlikely and if I do it will be for a much shorter Shift...so my next Night Shift (after tonight) is not until 29th...

Nothing to Report moneywise for me....But I haven't had to take any out so that's a win as far as I'm concerned! :money:

Here's to the Updates... xXx :)

Mooloo - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing AWESOME!! Keep on going hun xXx :)

LittleMissDetermined - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing INCREDIBLE!! I know you can do this!! Thank you for your wonderful words and understanding, you're right that Anxiety is just rubbish and hard to deal with but I'll get there xXx :)

166million - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing BRILLIANTLY!! Keep on moving forwards and I know you will get there....Thank you for your amazing words and your offer of help...I'm okay for now but if you can help to welcome new people and let people know that I might take a little while to Update but that I will come back... thank you xXx :)

Anoneemoose - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing REALLY GREAT!! Keep on keeping on and moving forwards....thank you for your words as well....I'm seeing a Therapist and have done for a good few years now...partly as part of my Training to be a Therapist myself but now more for me to have a space that's mine and to be able to work through some of my current issues... xXx :)

Dobbibill - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing WONDERFULLY!! I've also deleted the Fund 3 as requested..not a problem...I hope you are doing well xXx :)

muppets - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing AMAZING!! Keep on going xXx :)

Sorry I haven't been around much for ages. Lots of life-issues to cope with:(. Sending hugs to everyone who is also battling through the nasties that life has a habit of throwing our way:kisses3:

We've been without all but the basic amount of electricity for the past week and I can't see an end to it for months:(. All our power went off on probably the coldest day of the year, was off about 15 hours until I could get an emergency electrician to come out. We live in the middle of nowhere:(. We are all-electric here (with oil central heating but it needs electricity to work the pump so that didn't work either). I've never been so cold in my life.

The electrician pretty much 'condemned' our 1970s electrics:eek:, the dampness in the walls hasn't helped either. Wires corroded etc. He rejigged the circuits somehow and left us with a total of just 5 sockets for the whole house and that's for all cooking, boiler, kettle, fridge/freezer and anything that needs to be plugged in. He said not to use multiple appliances on extension leads from each socket so I'm becoming quite adept at juggling appliances and swapping round what can be used where and when. At least we have light now too:j . Can't use the cooker socket either so am having to rely on one electric portable ring and a Tefal Actifry:eek:. I hardly ever used a microwave in the old days and mine was ancient and went to the tip ages ago. Have had to bite the bullet and have ordered a cheapie to pick up from Argos later todayjust to keep us going for the next few weeks.

No one is coming over Christmas and we have no social events planned out of the house where we would get fed and warm so goodness knows what we'll be eating over the festive period. Good job I hadn't bought a turkey:rotfl:.

Let's hope once this rubbish year (for a lot of us) is over we can look forward to a fresh, bright start to 2018. Keep smiling everyone. We can do it:beer:
