Hello Everyone
Once again I've been neglectful...I'm so sorry, there is just so much going on here....Things are very up and down...One minute I'm on top of the world and doing well and the next minute I'm doing rubbish and in pain and feeling ill and feeling down...
I've got a problem with my Hip which is causing problems but also I've not been at all well with a heavy Cold and Respiratory Infection...and that took a while to go...
Anyway...I'm also doing rubbish with my Emergency Fund....but I WILL get there.....I just have to keep on plugging away...We all will....
If you can all bear with me while things settle down I would really appreciate it and I will do my best to come on when I can... xXx

Hi all
I'm sneaking back onto this thread after far too long away from it... I was here right at the beginning, then life got in the way but now I'm back.
Hope everyone is ok. I've been squirrelling money away and my savings now stand at £346.92 - which isn't bad when I think about all of the extra spending that seems to come my way. Small steps though, and I'm determined to get there. Not giving up

Hi DreamerHelen
Sorry you've been so unwell. It can be disheartening when multiple illnesses come together. Hope you are starting to feel better -
I've not checked in for a while but still saving, although my total has gone down a little due to a little emergency spending - plumbing issue which wasn't too expensive to fix! Glad I had the cash to pay for it - that's what the EF is for
My total has reduced to £1105 now but I'm hoping to reach my interim target of £1250 by the end of the year with a little help from my sealed pot!
Can you update my total? (Sig updated)

Hi Helen a
Sorry you've been unwell, I hope your hip has got better and your cold has gone away.
My fund now stands at £2160/£4000
That's 54% which isn't bad but considering we'll have been going for 2 years next month I had hoped to be nearly there! Never mind, I have managed a bit of separate savings for the 'known' expenses coming up next year and hopefully my carefully thought out plans will come to fruition. Lol.
Anyway, good luck everyone and thanks as ever, Helen, for keeping us all updated. XMFIT -T5 #420 -
Morning Helen! I hope you are feeling better in yourself and that pesky hip is behaving! Thank you for the welcome - I am aiming to put £250 a month in to emergency savings - set it up as a direct debit to come out a couple days after I get paid so I know how much I have left to save. Going on holiday next week for 2 weeks so might need to dip in  but I am hoping not!01.05.2019 - Re-Mortgage - £142,000 :eek::eek: Total overpaid to date: £15,584.33.
