Well done on the additional fiver in the pot, you are now into double figures in percentages because that's 11% you've hit............how fab. :D

Good to hear Grandad is feeling a bit better Helen xx

My new total is £5100 which is exactly 60% of my total, I've been doing lots of extra hours in my 2nd job to make the extra top ups to my EF but possibly to the detriment of home life, my daughter told me last week she hates me being at work so much so I think I need to rethink things, progress is likely to be much slower from now on xx

I've had to borrow from my pot to bail my son and his partner out with the bailiffs. But I won't change my total as there is the same amount spread around other pots, so I will juggle it all on Monday.
Catching my dreams becomes very difficult when adult children keep needing help.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • £25.73 paid into my EF today. My budget has my basic wage as my income and this was the extra from a few hours overtime.
I know I can manage my budget on my minimum so from now on, unless I need the extra funds, I will add any overflow to my EF.

  • Hello lovelies

I have some money lurking in my current account and I keep being tempted to have a splurge so I have decided to put it in my 3-6 month fund where I will be far less tempted

More will be coming at pay day but for now I'm adding £500 to my fund.

This takes me to a total of £820 please

Hope everyone is well, I'm having to post and run I'm afraid

    LMD xx

  • Hi sorry I haven't been keeping up with everyone. I have added to my EF and am now 1/3 of the way to my target. 1334/4000 is my new total. Thanks for keeping everyone updated Helen.

  • Morning everyone

It's my pay day today so I can add some fundamental to my 3-6 month pot again. I've just transferred £350 into the account so this takes my total to £1170

    Finally making some headway.

    I hope everyone's doing OK
