Hi
Some advice please
I'm with Sky for TV only - 18 months ago I signed up for an all channels package with UHD and multi room for £58. This month my bill has gone up to £107. Phoned to cancel hoping to be able to negotiate - was offered £87pm but without cinema, multiroom and UHD. Asked if there was any room to manoeuvre - they said no so I asked to cancel which they did! I'm now into my 31 day notice period. Am I being unrealistic with my expectation of a full package in the £60 - £70 range? Will Sky contact me again to offer a better deal before my contract runs off? I don't really want to cancel but I'm not paying what they are asking for...0 -
After my 31 days notice run out I had these offers
Sky Signature - £15 - Netflix - £4 - Sky Sports - £14 - Cinema - £6 - Kids - £2.50 - HD - £3 - UHD - £5 - Multiscreen - £10

I have been told by someone who used to work for sky. That once you have cancelled if you ring back you will be put through to a team whose job is to try and win you back. They are able to give the best discounts. In addition he recommended ringing between the 20th and the 28th of every month as at that point the staff are looking at making sure they have hit there targets or maximising their bonus’s so have an even better incentive to give a better deal.1

Been fairly easy the last couple of renewals. Previously it would take days or even weeks to get a good deal. Ok, you still need to allow a couple of hours on live chat but happy with the latest deal...SignatureKidsSports HDCinemaNetflix StandardFree 1TB Sky Q UHD box£30 account credit18 month contract @ £52pm, v happy with that

I wish I could get something as good as this. Phoned today and said if I can't get a good enough deal we will probably go to Freeview. We currently have the Entertainment tv package, standard unlimited broadband and a phone line with Anytime Talk which costs £10. We pay almost £82 per month and have been out of contract for ages having joined in December 2016. The advisor said she could offer me Signature, Standard unlimited broadband with boost and anytime talk for £63 per month. I asked about moving our box to a different room and the cost of that is £60 plus admin fees for changing my contract which totals £29.99. Told her I'd think about it over the weekend but may just cancel and go for freeview. I'd be interested to know if I am likely to get a better offer if I phone and tell them to cancel the contractJamesHCC said:Been fairly easy the last couple of renewals. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you0 -
Rare to get anything worthwhile out of Sky unless you cancel - and convince them that you really mean it !!sylwright said:

is Signature the new base (cheapest) tv package?
i'm on Entertainment at present0 -
Yes it is. Phoned to cancel, now getting a new Sky Q box, box relocated to different room at no charge, Boosted essential broadband, anytime talk and an extra minibox for £56 a month. Happy with that so acceptedcarpy said:is Signature the new base (cheapest) tv package?

Coming to the end of my current deal and I've been offered the same price (after a price increase this year).
I'm paying £78 for the below. Is it worth me haggling again as I thought it was a good deal last time I renewed.
