My latest 18 month deal runs out 27/12/2020.
I have Entertainment, Sports, Cinema, Sport HD , HD and multi for £51 pm.
After going through to cancel the 1st offer was £72pm and the next was £63. I said no.
He said that was the best so i mentioned Black Friday and was told(in chat window) that was all he could offer.
Before that my Sky account had a Renew your current deal for 18 months at the same price but i said this to him and the reply was that is not on his system and i went ahead and cancelled.
I checked this morning and my future bill for January and February are £39pm as Sky have me down as having Sports and Cinema still active but all the rest of my tv package should be stopped by the. My last day with Sky will be 30/12/2020.
I will have to contact them about this but the emails from them stated all services will stop on that day.
I forgot to say this is for Sky HD + box setup.0 -
Broadband / Rental / Calls Post
Have this at moment:Sky Broadband Unlimited11 Mbps Average Speed, Unlimited DownloadsSky Talk Line Rental
£34.00 a monthSky Talk Anytime Extra
But renewal email from from 21st Dec is:Sky Broadband Essential11 Mbps Average Speed, Unlimited Downloads, Includes Line RentalSky Talk Anytime Extra
£35.00 a month
Both 18 month minimum term's
If I do not take the £35 one it goes to this:Sky Broadband Unlimited11 Mbps Average Speed, Unlimited DownloadsSky Talk Line Rental
£43.00 a monthSky Talk Anytime Extra
No mention of minimum terms
I only get max 3Mbps speed.
Anyone getting a better deal? Is it worth haggling?
Essential or Unlimited? Looks the same to me LOLThanks for any replies. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -
I left Sky a few years back but being home more I do miss the basic channels and recording/pause/play feature. I rang to see what offers they had for new customers...best I was offered was £28 for Sky signature package and Netflix (2 devices as this is my current Netflix option) and then £20 Q set up charge. At the moment I pay £8.99 for Netflix so is the Signature package worth £19?0

That was the reason i think that i have not got any stay with us offers when i log into my Sky account.
Today i went to check and taken to an offer page of Signature £15, HD £2, Sports and Cinema £23 but no mention of multiscreen as you had to click "go to offer" and i did not want to do that in case it started the min term contract.
The above is for Sky H+ box.0 -

It is their entry level package now0 -
Tried reduce/cancel Sky costs, only have entertainment package but end of deal so price went up to around £28. I have landline and broadband too so unsure if should post on main bundle thread. Bundle used to cost £45 max, but now over £60.
Was offered Signature at £17, no reductions elsewhere. Bundle would now cost £42, or £33 if cancel tv. Have asked to cancel, think will need to do without it tbh.0 -
Just called SKY before 2021 price rise.
Current full TV package on HD+ £93 pm.
After haggle, SKYQ free fitting, same package plus Netflix £70 pm after increase. Cancel my own Netflix payment of £9.99 pm = £60 pm equiv.
saving £33 (37%) plus new SKYQ box fitted free 👍. Just do it!0 -
