period and nothing appeared in ‘my deals’. Since disconnection had a few missed calls from Sky, emails and mail shots offering various pretty good deals. They rang me again yesterday and I happily accepted the following.
Sky signature with HD
Sky sports with HD
Sky Q box with free installation
18month contract £25 per month and £50 account credit.
Need to do better I'm afraid, nothing less than the deal above.
I don't need SKY so not an issue if they can't agree to that.
Not a chance.0 -

I got an email from Sky saying that Sky TV contract is due for renewal soon (turned out this will happen in September)
After not being able to get through to anyone online via chat or phone, I saw an offer when I logged in on the Sky website which looked too good to pass up (all the below was confirmed on screen before I accepted the offer)
£26.50/month (currently paying £28/month)
Sky signature (I have Sky Entertainment currently)
Multi-screen (which I already have, including two mini boxes)
HD for £+0 for 18 months (which I don't have)
After checking it wasn't an introductory offer and that it carried over my existing discounts, I signed up
The offer I got through email a couple of hours later was NOT the same and would have resulted in my bill going up immediately to £38/month (+£4 for Ultra HD, +£6 for HD after two months of receiving it for free, this was not mentioned anywhere in the initial offer on the website so was really annoying as it seemed like bait and switch)
After several phone calls today and speaking to about 8 people, 7 of whom gave different offers all involving removing HD and still having to pay more than I am now and an admin fee on top of this, I was finally referred to someone in the cancellation team for the second time who was polite and offered a deal I was happy with
This gent provided two options:
£10 admin fee waived
Sky Signature
Multiscreen
£27.50/month for 18 months (50p cheaper per month than I am paying now)
Or
£10 admin fee waived
Sky Signature
Multiscreen
Ultra HD and HD
£31/month for 18 months (cheaper than I am paying now)
So I took him up on the HD offer for £31/month
Just checked my upcoming bills on the website and the ones in August and onwards do exactly reflect what was agreed
In conclusion, I will never sign up for a sky deal through the website again, it's only cancellations who seem to offer reasonable deals when re-contracting and even then, it depends on who you get through to.0 -
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and need some advice.
My Sky broadband & talk international introductory offer ends in 2 weeks, price going up from £30/mth to £45/mth. Called them today to get a new deal, got put through to Retentions Team, the best they could offer is to keep £30/mth. Not happy with that, so I asked them to cancel.
I have 2 weeks to change my mind before I lose the service (which I really don't want to happen because I'm happy with the package). All the offers I had through my online account are not available anymore ('page not found').
Is it possible to haggle a better deal during the notice period?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.0 -
My 18 month contract is finishing next week. Just on the chat service. Best offer I've been able to get
Sky Signature £17 (£13 off)
Sky Ultimate £4 (£2 off)
Sky HD £2 (£4 off)
Kids £1 (£4 off)
Total £24/month with SkyQ 1TB + £10 admin fee on 18 month contract.
Was debating whether to proceed with cancellation and seeing what the retention team comes up with but feel like this is pretty good deal. Any thoughts?

well i would snap your offer up cos i just came off phone from retentions and they told me offers like yours are not available since covid started. They want £25 for signature, £8.50 multiroom and hd £6 so i’ve told them where to stick that ‘offer’.
i have signature offer on my account online but he told me its only 12 months despite it saying 18.Really disappointed in their ‘offer’ to longstanding customer.0 -
Hi,
im new to this group and after advise. I’ve recently give 31 days notice to cancel my sky package as my contract was due to end. It’s only been 3 days and had no offers yet. How long before you normally start getting offers if any?
I was paying £107.50 a month for TV, Broaband and Phone. TV package included Sports, Cinema, Netflix, Entertainment, Ultimate on demand, Multi screen. I was offered a reduced cost of £86.50 by the retentions team which I refused. After looking in my sky deals I’m being offered
Sky Signature £21
Sky Cinema £5
Sky Sports £11
Ultimate TV £6
HD £1
No mention of broadband deal.
Is this a good deal or should I wait?
Thanks0 -
Just to note my Sky TV went off a week ago and there has been no contact from the winback team as of yet.
How long does it usually take to get an offer?0
