Guys a word of warning. I just got stung for £~20 for calling 0844 numbers to Asia. previously I was getting them out of my minutes but my august bill arrived the other day and it shows "low rate international calls" £~20 plus my line rental of £30. O2 have billed me for 0844 calls before 28 September. Has this happened to anyone else???:mad:0

Hi,
I had an upgrade in July. Phoned up 2 days ago spoke to retention dept, was offered either the simplicity plan or £100 credit till June next year. Did not mention about the new phone and I'm still thinking whether to stay till June or leave. I've been with O2 since BT Cellnet might be it's time to leave......0 -

i took out a contract which has 1100 mins anytime any network, coz i use these 0844, 0845 & 0870 numbers to speak to my family abroad but tough...it wont happen from the 28-sept-07....
I can't c what your pointing at...most of us are here trying to help each other. is that no the point of this thread?0 -

Depends how much NGN calls u used to make. Most of the calls will stop though you might find alternative numbers on saynoto0870.
Depending on yr usage, the £100 credit doesn't look too bad to me!0 -

This has affected me, as I use the 0844, 0845 & 0847 nubers to call abroad. O2 Can be pretty naff as a customer service organisation. But I would like to know if there is a way of using bundle minutes to call abroad, and if Martin Lewis has started any work from the consumer point of view to get this re-instated or work with sympathetic companies to help us out.0

I know Orange/T-Mobile allow some access but I do not want to keep changing the access number as Orange were doing before. It was a case of find one number - Orange would find it and it would then start charging. I'm not sure if this is still the case.In the words of Jerry Maguire "SHOW ME THE MONEY"0 -
Beware
Just received a mail from O2 they require me to pay a final termiantion fee for 211!!
Any one go similar experience I am gonna email O2 and will post the result latter on

Just got out of my O2 contract early due to the change in their T&C's regarding 0870 and 0845 numbers. Got switched over to sim only early which was what i was going to do anyway when my contract ended, so 2 months earlier is a brucey bonus:T
As these numbers aren't included in monthly allowance after 28th September, what happens when you try to call the O2 online customer services 0870 number, will that be chargable after that date or classed as free? I tried 202 shortcut on keypad, and i got the "you have an online account, please call blah blah message". Is there another quick dial for online Customer Services?
Cheers, Rob.0
