Hi,
I phoned O2 today giving 30 day notice even though I have not received letter or text. Lady I spoke to said I couldn't cancel because I had not called 08 numbers in the last 4 months even though I called one yesterday and stayed on for 30 mins.Dropped the call and phoned again;this time I was told I needed to give written notice and when the specialist team decided whether I have been using 08 numbers they will contact me.
Phoned the third time and got through to a nice gentleman who offered me 600 mins,1000txts and O2 long weekends, free N95 for £35 a mth. Is this any good?
I am on online 35: 1000 mins, 150 txts 1mb data, with rollover minutes.
ThanksYou can have God without religion!0 -

That doesn't seem like that good a deal to me but then it depends on how long you have been with O2. I have been offered the same but with 500 texts and a K810i for £28 per month.Student MoneySaving Club member 0210 -

( in fact the 11.5 section is for new customers, for upgrades its on the reverse side numbered 8.5 )
I have no idea if any additional terms may apply to certain cases of clientAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
I need some help here again. 3 days ago i write a letter to CPW to cancel off my contract. Today, i receive my PAC number. What is a PAC number? It says on the sms that i must use this PAC number by 14/10/2007 if not, i will still receive monthly bills. What does that mean? Have my contract with O2/CPW been cancel? What can i do to ensure my contract has been cancel? Does that means that i need to get a new contract to cancel this contract?
Thanks in advance

You must use the pac code to end the contract. The pac code allows you to keep your old number when you transfer to another company, and your previous contract ends when the pac is taken up by the next provider you have chosen to be with.
I am waiting for mine from CFW, the best thing I have decided to do, (as if like me you havent researched your best option after leaving o2), is to transfer to Orange PAYG ( they have a free sim offer on their site at mo). They seem to be the only company that will then give you the pac code again for free, for you to port your number to its "final" resting place/new contract. Plus you can also leave it there if you dont need it again. The fact that they have sent you the pac code means that you asked for it or they have assumed you will want to keep your o2 number.
