Thank you so much for your advice, Which means all i need to do is go to Orange and get the free PAYG sim card and my contract with CPW will end immediately? :T
AFAIK Once Orange have processed the Pac code your number should be with them and the contract with o2/CPW ends that day. So I am led to believe, after discussing options in the shops.

Havent done it yet myself as no pac code or any other communication from CPW for me yet.

I need some help here again. 3 days ago i write a letter to CPW to cancel off my contract. Today, i receive my PAC number.

Which address did you post your letter to? I rang CPW/O2 two weeks ago to cancel and the rep said I will be contacted within 2 weeks. Heard nothing as usual.

I did sent a written notice last Friday to
CPW
1 Portal Way
London

Yet I still havent contacted by CPW/O2.

My current O2 contract start in late March via e2save and I only use the phone for 08** number exclusively.

After reading this with some interest as an 02 customer (I acutally did not even realise that these numbers were included!!lol)
I thought I would try my luck, as I wanted to reduce my monthly bill - or get out of my contract and go elsewhere. So I have just called and the lady I spoke to right away said they would allow me to cancel as it is a change to my t&c's I then asked - are you sure you won't give me any discount - after a little while she basically offered £5 reduction, so I asked to cancel. Spoken to the guy on the retention team, and he offered to change me onto the £15 tariff which is £10 less for more txts and the same number of mins - so result for me.
THANKS TO EVERYONE

hi
Have written to O2 to cancel my contract as very unhappy with them changing terms and conditions, was told in the first place that I could and there would be no termination fee. Have not used these numbers but as they were part of my original contract I want them in case I do need to use them. I am now being told they will look at my account and see if I have used them, if not I will be charged to terminate.

I have just emailed peter.erskin@o2.com and said that I am unhappy at the changes and also the fact that 5 customer service staff have told me 5 different things.

Is there anything else I can do to get out of this contract as I am so unhappy with O2 and their service. Please give me anything possible to get out of this asap, as when I was in phones 4 u on the 9th sept asking when I could get an upgrade they told me to do this. They said my account would be close without charge as thats what's the customer service person told both me and the sales assistantand they sold me a new contract.

I have to get a reply by Saturday morning as if they wont cancel I have to take the new phone back to phones4 u and cancel the new contract they sold me. They are also saying that I might find it hard to get the same deal again as I would have cancelled the contract within the 14 days. The deal was with t mobile.

Wish I had not bothered listening to them now as at the mo it's looks like I will have two contracts to pay for.
Thanks for any help and advice given

RE: Disconnection of O2 account for change of terms and conditions.

I am writing to terminate my O2 account with immediate effect due to the recent changes in my terms and conditions no longer allowing calls to numbers beginning with 08 within my inclusive minutes.

I was also informed that there would be no termination charge. Also as I pay a month in advance I expect no further charges. I am aware that the phone may not show any resent calls to 08 (no-geographic) numbers but this was part of the contract I signed therefore expect the facility to be available.

I request confirmation of this disconnection request and the account showing as cleared in writing for my records. I have also kept a copy of this e-mail I have sent to you as well.
Thanks for any help and advice given
