    Yeah Im just wondering this as well i wonder since we are renegotiating with o2 can we do an upgrade deal instead where we get a new handset with a new contract cos im feeling cheecky and may ask later in the evening to upgrade my phone now i got N95 on 2 contracts and just wondering if they will upgrade to an o2 xda trion and a Sony Ericsson P1i if i can do that i will and let you all know whats happening this evening if someone else do that let me know
  • Hi all just to let you know i phoned o2 and told them straight was not happy with change of t&c im thinking about cancelling and getting new contract with someone else unless the improve there offer they said fine they then gave me 2 offers:

    1) sim only deal which has been mention in a post elsewhere or

    2) I could upgrade my phone which i chose i got a Sony Ericsson P1i andi also got an N95 on my other line the contract was the same as before £28 on o2 long weekend got 20% discount as im on o2 select

    The lady i spoke to was very nice no probs and sorted out straight away didnt argue either so i feel good as i only upgraded last in april and upgraded within 5 months give a try guys and dont forget to thank me.

    1. So did you get two mobiles for 2 contracts?
    2. Each £28?
    3. What is O2 select if I may ask.

    I am having problems with O2 at the mo, I have 2 contracts with them and have been told 5 different things by 5 different members of staff. Has anyone got an e-mail address for complaints as I have had enough of them now and want to get rid.

    They did this to me last time I was with them and kept writing to me to come back as they had improved their service. What utter rubbish if anything it's worse.

    I closed another contract I had with them a little while ago and it has taken months for them to stop making mistakes on my final bill. They even sent me letters saying that as I am now in debt with them they have place call restrictions on my phone. I would not be able to lift this until I paid the bill and would be unable to use the phone. I rang at least 6 times to say excuse me I am no longer with you, you have even sent me my pac code so you have all this information on my records.

    They said sorry every time and it would be sorted asap ( if only it was). I now want to leave them completely so anyone that can give me an e-mail address would be helping me a lot. As you can never get the same person on the phone and letter mysteriously go missing.

    Both my contracts end in a few weeks anyway. I've been offered 600 mins for £40/mth, with £480 cashback (making it free) and 400 mins for £35/mth with £408 cashback (£12 net over the year). Sim only/no handsets.

    Has anyone else pushed for a handset with this kind of offer?

    The way they treat customer I would go elsewhere to be honest. They don't know what one member of staff is saying to the next. When I have rang I get a different reply everytime, each time worse than before.

    I sympathise having left for that reason, and their ability to hide from customers, but ended back with them through CPW again. Cos the phones are not locked.

    Googling found this very useful page, kinda like the high level complaints one, email adresses open in outlook so you can say what you need.
