I have received my PAC code earlier by email; do any of the other networks include NGN or 07744 numbers in their free inclusive minute allowance?
I don't know which one to use now...

From O2/CPW: PAC number is *********. This PAC must be used by 30/09/2007. You will continue to receive monthly bills if it is not used.

  • I bought the contract from phones4u with cash back at 6 months. Luckily it's 7th month now when I heard about the changes. I primarily bought this phone for the 08 numbers. I spoke to O2 customer services re cancellation and they gave me a address which is slightly different from the address in the back of their billing statement.

Address given to me : O2 UK, PO Box 242, Houghton Regis, Luton LU5 5WA

Address in the bill: O2 (UK) ltd, PO Box 202, Houghton Regis, LU6 9AG

Am I being misled or is it a different address. Should I include all the conditions as in the carphone letter as shown above. Suggestions appreciated. Thank you

That was an address I was given as well, although you can do it via email. I did have a bit of a discussion with the guy about email, he said I would have to write in for the request to be valid, I argued the contract was taken out online and so could be cancelled in the same way basically saying that if I could not cancel online as there was no signature then the contract was never valid in the first place as there was no signature, just playing them at their own game - works a treat :)

I'm 6 months in to a cashback sim-only contract with O2/CPW - no text or letter, so 30 days notification not possible before the new charges come in!
There is a link to "Special Numbers" on my latest online bill on the CPW site, but nothing on the bill they just emailed me - does that count as notification?
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

Just sent off my reasons for cancelling my o2 contract with The Carphone Warehouse via their email system.

I'll report back to let you know what kind of response they give me.
