    Hi Sheri

I had an email from CPW O2 stating that they checked my usage for last 3 months and my percentage of uage of these numbers is low, so can't cancel with out buying out my contract which will be 18 months * £35. Today I wrote a letter with the T&C and sent it recorded delivery and see what will happen.

But it good to know that you manage to get out.

If you are o2cpw costomer and want to cancelled your contarct remeber following points, as I have successfully cancelled my contract 6/18 months and asked them PAc no.

    O2CPW
    1) Remind them term and condition 11.5.3
    2) Tell them virgin mobile stil including 07744 and 07755 nos and you like to have PAC ( if you donot want to go virgin that is fine) as this contarct do not suite as per your need.
    3) Do not forget to write to them as well by recorded post ( as per as contract term and conditions)
They will say many things to keep you, such as virgin media website is not updated etc. but insist for PAC code or you loose your number. Tell them virgin website is uptodate.
    eg: www.yourcallworld.com

    Hope this help

    Hi

O2cpw will try very hard to keep you either way, you have to find out much do you use 0870/08444 no ( use privious bill ) and multiply by 20p, say £x amount, and tell them you can not afford £x amount .
if you are planing to use these no in furture this will siginficantly increase your phone bill.
cpw can not tell personnel finacial circumtances for any person who can /who can not afford ( in other word significant increase in your phone bill due to change in term and conditions)

    give a try

I'm with o2 online and have 3 months left on my contract, so have downgraded to the Sim Only deal for £20 a month for 400 mins & 1000 txts, he mentioned because i had been paying £35 a month since May 2006 i should be able to get a good deal when i upgrade at end of October so gonna wait till then and see what handsets and deals they can offer, no hassle at all really!

I have looked at my past 4 months and never really use them, i am going to argue the fact that in 2 weeks time a family member is moving abroad so i will be using them all the time

Not a good idea to tell them you are using the NGN numbers to call overseas. I'm sure calling over-ride providers would not count as technically you are breaking their T&C. You're better off saying you need them to call companies that use 08 numbers.

Hi,I'm with CPW and I was told that I could cancel my contract since I use 0844 numbers on a regular basis, but was also told that I would have to send my mobile back.Is there any way that I could keep my mobile?I have read in an another post that technically the phone belongs to CPW till the 18 month contract finishes, any suggestions for a way of keeping my phone when I cancel with CPW?I am not too bothered about having the same phone number cos I've got a PAYG which I'll start using more.Had the O2 phone just for international calls alone,so will start using my landline more.Have tried ringing07978 number for abroad, will have to wait till next month to see if I'm charged for it.Havent signed up to online billing.
