A friend of mine made a claim 12 months ago and its now gone to the FOB and waiting to be passed to adjudicator. This was back on 11th March. How long does this process take? Does anyone know?

    Hi there
It can be difficult to give a timescale to be honest, as the FOS have a huge of these complaints to deal with, and a backlog.

But to give an approx timescale after its with an adjudicator, if straight forward then about 8 weeks, and it can also be longer than a year, this will also depend on how the other party react as well.;)

    Hi everyone,

Have been helping a friend with his claim against Barclays.

He has just rang me to say that £3000.00 has been deposited in his account today.

I am so pleased for him:j

    Di3004 I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU

Got my offer letter through yesterday

Had 4 loans in total, paid each one off with a top up loan etc and had 14 months left on my existing loan amount

The offer letter was to pay the outstanding balance off on my existing loan and also credit me back £3,490

    I can't thank you enough

They broke down all the values etc with 8% interest included on a seperate sheet and I sent my response back this morning.

    1st letter sent 30th April

One reply to say they are looking into it, one phone call to clarify if i am requesting PPI refund on all 4 loans and then offer later

    I am over the moon

How long do you think they will now take till I get the loan paid off and my refund bare in mind that my next loan payment is scheduled for the 1st July

    Thank you so much Di3004

    Hi Guys

Just want to say a HUGE HUGE HUGE Thank you to everyone on here, special shout outs to Martin Lewis & Di3004

I have had my loan repaid which still had Near £4K outstanding and then an added bonus of just nearly £4K refunded

I cant believe this, I sent the first letter end of April, had one letter back a couple of phone calls and now all completed

I would seriously urge anyone to give this a go, well worth it

Thank you so much once again, I am a very happy man

Hi,Ive just found an old ppi schedule from Pinnacle Insurance Plc.I was wondering if I have any chance of re-claiming back this ppi as it was in 1999!!!!!!I can remember at the time of taking this the salesperson advised I take it ....but never asked if my employment covered full sick pay (for 6-12 months)so really I would have been no better off by taking this policy out to start with >:( .Im going to write to them anyway .Has anyone had any luck claiming back from Pinnacle??Thanks in advance :D kaz x
