    Hi there

First of all good luck to this.

I would contact the FOS as a general query on this and see what they have to say, as the business have had ample time.
See what the FOS suggest I think is your best option here at the moment.

Please keep us posted, fingers crossed for you.;)

Thanks di3004 - I will give them a call and will keep you posted. On the off chance, do you or anyone know if Barclays usually take this long?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Good news!

    • What were you reclaiming: PPI on 5 Sainsbury's loans from 2002 to current day
    • Who was the provider: Bank of Scotland
    • How much did you get back: £6921.00
    • Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombundsman: one letter
    • And then write your brief reclaim tale
Well what can I say?! I am absolutely gobsmacked! Sent my SAR letter in march, received info back in april, sent 1st letter off end of april. So from start to finish has only taken a couple of months. The Bank of Scotland have been absolutely fantastic throughout this process; extremely efficient service & very approachable.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me on this site. :T This will go a long way to paying off the rest of my debts.

Hi had a success for my neice on a barclaycard Master loan she took out in 2007. wrote using Template letter asking for orignal loan agreement in nov 09. recieved end of nov said copy. took another template letter asking for full refund of premiums paid. recieved letter back to say they were investigating matter. Then on 31st Dec letter with cheque to say they were refunding total premiums paid plus interest of 8%
    present loan balance:£551.20
    Less PPI premium : £386.20
    Less PPI interest paid £66.95
Plus PPI payments reversed : £377.60
    Residual balance: £475.65
The Cheque was £404.03 very nice thank you.
You can do it, all template letters are there. cost of a couple stamps and sometimes the waiting game but stick with it.

    Hi

    Your very welcome.;)

Hope they have some good news for you.

I don't really know so much about Barclays to be honest, but I do know lots on here have made reclaims against them.

    Fingers crossed.:)

  • had a loan in 2004 with halifax - sent off the first letter from this website and just recieved cheque this morning for £2300.

word of warning - dont believe every thing these no win no fee ppi claiming companys tell you, i nearly did this, talked to company - guy came to my house - he told me it would be £100 straight away then 25% then 17.5% from my winnings, i signed it all and when he left i had a look at this website after reading i could do it myself i cancelled with the company - money matters - the rep rang me 5 mins later and said i would never see this money unless i went with them - i ignored him, downloaded the letter, filled it in, sent it off and a month later im £2300 better off and its all mine - cheers martin!!
