PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Hi All,

After 3 months and a few letters emailed they have just offered £2796 without admission !! WooHoo !!

Thank you all for your help & keep on fighting the good fight !!

I am very happy this morning.

I wrote to Egg about the PPI on a loan that I completed recently and today (none working days after the complaint) I had an offer of refund including interest of just over £3,000!!

I really can't thank people on here enough for their guidance.

I am overjoyed with this but also angry as I have been struggling for a few years and was ripped off so am only getting back what is rightfully mine.

What were you reclaiming: PPI on from my Lloyds TSB Mastercard

Who was the provider: Lloyds TSB
How much did you get back: £2155.77
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombundsman: one letter
And then write your brief reclaim tale
Was missold PPI when I was a student and have been paying a premium of £40 a month, plus the interest on top of it for around 4 years. Sent one letter and have received the money today.

SO pleased, now to work on those unfair £12 charges!

Hi to everyone it's been a long time since I last posted where I currently am with my reclaim of PPI from Egg CC taken out on internet.

Have had to take complaint to FOS have received questionaire from them which I have filled in and returned. They are awaiting reply from Egg then case will be passed to an adjudicator. Will keep you posted!!!!!
