hi, just a quick question, i just recived a letter from RBS telling me as a good will gesture they would refund me £767 in ppi refunds the letter says they will try to refund me within 28 days of reciving the signed acceptance form, i sent it off today.

How long do rbs take to refund you money will it be within 28 day ? or do they mess you around and try to take as long as possible ?

    Thanks

    Hi and well done.

I have not had any experience with these at all but hopefully they mean calendar days, if you not received by almost the 28 days then chase them up to make sure, good luck.;)

Well, almost 2yrs after my intial letter on behalf of my parents re a miss-sold single premium PPI from Norton Finance they have had a letter from the ombudsman saying that they are upholding the initial decision that my parents were miss-sold.

I'd like to thank the posters who have offered advice and enouragement over the last 2yrs.

When I get further details about figures I will post them.

    Thanks again,

    Spoll

Wow that is great news Spoll :T:T

I hope your parents will be compensated for distress too, if this have not been mentioned then it may be worth also requesting for this, your parents have waited long enough.

Although we await the total amount re the PPI from Norton, the FSO have also added £200 compensation on top.

    Thanks Di
