PPI on Credit Card
Provider was Capital One
Received a cheque for £306.25
Sent off the Template letter received the offer of £306.25 about 3 weeks later which I accepted.
The letter said that PPI should not of been applied to my account and that it had been an administrative error, and that they apologise for any inconvenience caused!:T
Marvellous :T:j, well done and Congratulations, great work!:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Brilliant :T:T:T
Well done and Congratulations  and good luck on the other.;)
Update to my earlier post - finally had a result with Barclaycard!
I sent back the questionnaire that they sent to me asking for more details and last week received a reply from them saying that they would pay me back £162!
Thanks to MSE I have received back £3314.29 from various companies!
Happy days indeed :cool2:. Good luck to everyone with your own claims - keep the faith and don't let them weasel their way out of paying you back what is rightfully yours!0 -

I am just awaiting the result of the 3rd loan ppi now (lloyds),hopefully they will uphold on that one as well, fingers crossed.:j:)
Hubby received his 2 cheque payments from LLoyd Credit Card, through the FOS, both in the bank now.
And am having some workings out done on the 2 loan ppi (lloyds) who have also upheld, in case anything is amiss. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

What were you reclaiming: Loan
Who was the provider: Welcome Finance
How much did you get back: circa £1,500
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Had to go to FOS
Sent the template letters to WFS back in September without reponse, so went to the FOS at the beginning of January. 3 months later and I've finally received an offer letter from the FOS (still waiting for Welcome's due to address changing issues), but I calculate I'll be due roughly £1,500 back. :j0 -
Hi
Im hoping someone could help, sorry if i post this wrong, i have only ever viewed this site, never posted. But the site is greatv
I sent a letter to tesco, got a reply to acknowledge on 24th march, today i hav a letter stating they are not upholding the complaint, but have offered as gesture of goodwill of £1,511.59, and they have confirmed if i accept this will come off account due to having a CCJ on this loan from a few years ago.
They dont say this is there final offer, but have said if im not happy i can go to the FOS, im pleased with the offer to the point if means that debt would be clear 18 months sooner, however would i have a case to refer to fos for the interest and have that paid to me? or should i write back to TESCO to ask for this...
I dont know if they have to reply once they issue an offer.all in all 3 weeks to get this offer i think is not bad going..
Any help appreciated0 -

Hi and welcome
Did they also enclose you with an acceptance slip to sign or not?
And are you happy with the way they will refund the amount to the account?
And is there much difference in the amount of the offer to the proper amount?
Sorry for the questions lol.
If they have enclosed the FOS details with the leaflet and have said this was final then you move on to the FOS, but if not and your not happy you could give them say about 14 days and ask if they are prepared to reconsider your case, if you hear nothing by 14 days then move on to the FOS.
It is up to you of course, you could mention you note they have enclosed details of the FOS but they have not confirmed its the actual final decision.
Good luck with this, hopefully others will post up with some opinions and help on this for you too.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
