After enduring the nightmare of the last 4 days trying to get home from Vienna because of the Volcano in Iceland I finally managed to get back to London late last night after vsiting numerous countries!

Anyhow, I thought it couldn'tget any better until I walked through the door and recieved a letter from Alliance & Leicester in response to my PPI claim. Not expecting to recieve anythig or if I did it would be a nominal amount. I was greatly surprised to find that after taking a 23k loan in 2006 and PPi being 4.5k. They have found in my favour and are refunding me not only the full amount of the PPI plus the interest I had to pay on top of it. After the remaining amount of money I owe on my loan is subtracted from the offer, Alliance and Leicester willbe sending me a cheque for £1480. I am over the moon and shocked but it does feel like I just won the lotterry.

I nearly used a company to make the claim but at the last minute looked on Martin's website and used the templates provided and now every single penny of the money is mine and I am indebted to the website, Martin and his team. The advise given is second to none and will advise people to visit the site if they needed advice.

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN! MARTIN IF I EVER SAW YOU IN A PUB THE BEER IS ON ME!!!!!!!

hi, just a quick question, i just recived a letter from RBS telling me as a good will gesture they would refund me £767 in ppi refunds the letter says they will try to refund me within 28 days of reciving the signed acceptance form, i sent it off today.

How long do rbs take to refund you money will it be within 28 day ? or do they mess you around and try to take as long as possible ?

    Thanks

The FOS had been dealing with a case I had with RBS. I sent back the acceptance form and called RBS about a fortnight later for an update, they were very pleasant and helpful and I received a cheque a week later. So all in all it was about 3 weeks. Hope this helps. Well done with yours and good luck.
