  • Hi all, :money:

Now have two PPI claims upheld by Lloyds TSB :beer:both refunds
+ one disputed claim:mad: I do have queries, all my loans from Lloyds TSB were consolidated loans, is there a difference between calculating the PPI rebates on consolidated loans and seperate loans and if so I know that somewhere on this site I read some information about consolidated loans, spent hours trying to find it (not wasted time as you find all sorts of great pieces of advice). both claims that were upheld state that refunds will be calculated exactly the same as if the FOS had calulated them, there is no information of total ammount to be refunded after doing the calculations ( does show the formula they will use, exactly the same as is posted in this site) ) I would like to know the ammount of money being refunded and a full breakdown of the way the refunds are calculated, do I request this before I send acceptance letters or am I worrying to much and send the acceptance letters ASAP. Any help with these points will be truly appreciated, thank you one and all for the help and endless patience shown to all.

Big thanks and:kisses: to all you from me and the wife.

    Hi

W are in the same situation. The FOS have upheld out claim and said Lloyds have to give us back a refund as though we never had ppi in the beginning. Could anyone help as I cannot work out how much i would get. Approx figures but loan taken 12000.00 PPI 8500.00. lon paid off after approx 1 year and approx 4000.00 given back as rebate on PPi. Will I get the other 4000.00 back or how does it work. Any help no matter how small is appreciated. Thanks Jed

Also forgot to say thanks to everyone on the sight especially Di. I was going to wait until we got the value of the refund before we posted wht we got but seeing as this was a similar situation thought we would reply. Anyone thinking of pushing aheag with a claim should GO FOR IT as i was also unsure but got so much help and advice on her by asking and from reading other peoples questions. Thanks again and I hope each & very one of you are successful. J

    Hi there

Well done, this is brilliant :T:T:T
    Congratulations.

And happy to have been some help, was just reading your other post lol, thank you.:A

If settled then you should receive back ALL you have paid in PPI, interest, also if they admit to mis selling you should also receive 8% interest of what a court would award for being deprived of your money.

WOW by the looks of it a lotta money to come back there hun, so the amount of PPI if that was the amount of PPI you settled then you should receive that back and the above interest as stated, well done.

  • feeling your pain, I have had my complaint with the FOS since Feb 09, and have been waiting for an adjudicator since Oct 09, wish this would come to an end.

hi,busbyh:D:D where have you been hiding? hows tricks?

hi amersall, everything great thanks. I have been catching up on my reading, haven't managed that for awhile due to the PICTURE issues. Like most of us it took over our lives(they've one hell of a lot to answer for)!!!!
    Read 5 books since Christmas.:D
I'm still logging on to the Picture thread though, hoping and praying the rest of the claimants here something very soon.

Glad that's sorted regarding account details. It really did concern me when I first read it. Thanks for putting my mind at ease;)
    Take care

  • What were you reclaiming: Credit Card
    Who was the provider: Egg
How much did you get back: £2439.68
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Went to the Ombudsman

Its Finally over!! After 10 months of waiting I have just received £2439.68 credited to my credit card account.
Egg firstly refused to acknowledge an error so off to the ombudsman I went and as they say the rest is history!!
Add this to the refund from Barclaycard (which was alot easier) and thats a total of £6500 back in under a year!
Good luck to all of you who are waiting and remember - DONT GIVE UP!!
