Have finally heard back from egg - they are going to pay me back my PPI but they have mentioned about simple interest. Can anyone tell me what this is please?!?

How long did it take from claim to agreement of refund?

I originally sent them an email back in early november and they replied saying that it wasn’t miss-sold blah blah blah and that it was me who requested it and I should get my credit request (which took forever to come through!)
In the end I called them 23rd December and told them it was miss-sold because it was an opt out rather than an opt in (took out card 2003) and the letter came through a couple of days ago!! Hopefully the cheque will be in this weeks post - they did say it would be sent asap!

That's really good news, fingers crossed it doesn't take too long. Hope the weather clears up soon so that you can get back to work as well.

If you don't mind me asking, how long has it taken to get to an adjudicator? I sent in 2 RBS claims in Feb/Mar 2009 and they are still waiting for an adjudicator.
