    Have received a letter today from HBOS regarding a Sainsburys loan from 2002 which was settled in 2004. I am getting a refund of £900 in the next 28 days, would have been nice before Christmas but after is almost as good!

    This is brilliant and its something to fall back on.
    Congratulations, and Well done.:beer::T:beer:

    Hi all,

    Just received a letter from HSBC saying they will pay back £600 inc interest for the graduate persons loan i took out in Sep 2007 for £5000!

    They said, although they don't agree to the allegations I made using the template letter and without admission of liability they were willing to repay me the amount.

    next day i got a call from my branch asking me to visit them so they could restructure the loan. I havn't got the money as yet as I have to fill in some forms.

    Hope they pay me without any hassle!

    Are there any catches in the restructuring of the loan???

    Happy Christmas...

    Hi alishahs

    I recently stumbled across a loan agreement with AA Financial Services, from July 1995 (yes, 14 years ago!), and noted that I had been charged nearly £2500 for loan PPI.

    I wrote to BoS requesting the money back + interest and a couple of weeks ago I received a letter asking me to contact them, which I ignored. Today, Christmas Eve, I received another letter offering to put me "in the position you would have been in had you not taken the insurance". I should have the money within a month. It was that easy!

    Whilst I have not actually received the money yet I thought I'd share this tale of seasonal joy :j and say a big thanks to Martin, MSE and all the members, who motivated me to act with their success stories.
