    :hello:

Does anyone have any idea what the payment time scale is for Black Horse to issue cheque after offer letter has been accepted ?

    :money:

Hi there hopefully someone who have had dealing with BH will post up for you.
But normally its approx say 28 days or a month after you have signed and accepted, although due to high volumes of these complaints they are all dealing with it can take longer, some other banks are stating they do not have a timescale, but if you hear nothing say after a month of signing, chase them up, good luck.;)

  • Bank of scotland have agreed to repay my ppi even though I ticked the box on application. They have said they will put me back in a position as though I never had the ppi. How do they calculate this as to do it accurately wouldnt they need to refund the 19.9% apr that was added to balance?

I have been sending letters off all week to reclaim charges, when going through my bankstatements etc I came across many loans with pppi so am going after that now. Looking at my loan document the breakdown indicates that my pppi was added in to my monthly payment ASWELL as the full amount being debited from my account!! It would appear that I've been charged twice for a product I didn't even need...nearly £8000!!! Where is the best place to seek advice from?
Should i take my paperwork to CAB? Any help much appreciated!!!

    Hello and welcome.
You can try to reclaim the ppi yourself with the help from this site, and using the guidelines of reclaiming found here:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
Check this out, and you will find template letters as well to help you though this, follow the guidelines you will not go wrong, and post by recorded delivery.
Remember to write your account number on your letter.

Good luck with this please keep us posted, and post up for help when required.;)

Hi there and well done to you.:T:beer:

They should then put you back in the position as if you did not have PPI, and refund you all you have paid in ppi and the interest.
Check this link here for more ideas on how this is calculated, this here is how the FOS calculates refunds:
