When reclaiming credit card charges, do the card companies have a different timescale to respond to you than if you were reclaiming PPI ?

    Hey Di

Surprise surprise very similar letter today from Tesco. A bit of copying and pasting and they will get the Mint letter. CCA letters all going off in post tomorrow. I'll get the wife to sign cheques- that will stop them forging the agreement- and if they do, gottem bang to rights!!!!!

    So another standard letter then?
    Good luck with this Putty.;)

Just one more question, only one!

In requesting a CCA, and it turns outs to be non binding, does this affect any claim charge or PPI claim that may be ongoing with the card provider. I mean if it turns out that they cannot enforce it, I don't pay right? However the debt remains on my file unless I get it shifted. Ahh so many blooming questions.

Is there a simple answer please?

Not a problem, you ask as many as you want lol :D

I am not too sure on this to be honest with you, but I'm sure someone will have some useful answers on this one, maybe dunstonh perhaps.
You could actually start a separate thread for this one if you want to, so its not missed, hopefully Dunstonh will come across and post up for you.

I do not want to give you the wrong info/advice on this, so better to leave this one to the ones who will know, good luck.;)

  • :hello:

Does anyone have any idea what the payment time scale is for Black Horse to issue cheque after offer letter has been accepted ?

    :money:
  • I have been sending letters off all week to reclaim charges, when going through my bankstatements etc I came across many loans with pppi so am going after that now. Looking at my loan document the breakdown indicates that my pppi was added in to my monthly payment ASWELL as the full amount being debited from my account!! It would appear that I've been charged twice for a product I didn't even need...nearly £8000!!! Where is the best place to seek advice from?
Should i take my paperwork to CAB? Any help much appreciated!!!
