Many thanks for your response. I have an account with the bank so they did say it would be going straight into there. I don't understand a couple of this. Why when they have made the offer does it take so long, especially as i have an account with them? Why they can't give a straight answer to how long it should take? And why can't we speak to that department direct? Also it would be interesting if anyone on here knows anybody who has had a refund from Lloyds recently, how long it took to get the money?

Your welcome.

I can understand how you feel here, I banked with Lloyds tsb for 18 years plus and when I was successful with credit card ppi through the FOS, it was about 2 months before payment was received.

Have you tried emailing internet banking?
And asking that they forward your email in regards of your refund here:
Internet.Banking@lloydstsb.co.uk

Ask that they send your email to the PPI dept of refunds for as soon as possible, and ask that they confirm this to you by email, tell them its urgent due to personal matters, you should receive a response to let you know by tomorrow.;)

I have done as suggested and emailed the internet banking, hoping they forward it onto the correct department. Many Thanks once again.

• Hi,

I recieved a response recently from capital one cc stating that it was not misold and was a NON-advised policy and that i applied online and requuested it online and then further to that i ticked the box stating that i wanted it on the paperwork they sent out for it... They said if i dont respond within 4 weeks they will close the complaint they have offered to cancel the policy though. God knows why i ticked those boxes!!!. As with HSBC i thought it improved the chance of application

Daft question but should i just leave it now?.

Hi Trisha
Hope your well.;)

Nooooooo do not give up, this is a standard response if sold online, many here have still been successful by keeping at them, or even it it goes to the FOS, write back and ask that they reconsider your complaint, because despite their decision you still strongly believe the policy was mis sold, keep at them Trish and if they still do not uphold in your favour, you can take to the FOS.
Amersall was successful with a policy bought online, different bank though, but that does not matter, hopefully amersall will be able to advise you on this as well.
Good luck Trish.:j:j

• Hi all

We have a winner! Sent a claim on behalf of my mum for her Halifax cc on oct 12th and got a letter today saying they are not admitting liability but as she is a valued customer they will redress her account so it's as if she never had the ppi. They said they will send the calculation within the month - she is really chugged

so am hoping for same response to dads Halifax and a&l cc's. Also givenme hope for positive outcome to my own one with sainsbury loan.
£10 a day 2015 Oct £131.38/£310
Challenge - Save £6,000 in 2015 - £4034.44/£6000
House deposit saving - £4034.44/£20,000
