If you no longer have any paperwork, you could request a Subject Access Request (SAR) from them if you want to, they should provide all info they hold on you, so that will include any finance you have taken out with them.

More on SAR here below, a template letter, there is a payment that should be enclosed for this request of £10 payable by postal order or cheque payment.;)

Your right, just as long as the 8 weeks have passed you are entitled to take your complaint to the FOS, as Lloyds have confirmed, it is up to you now though if you want to give lloyds a little longer, have your own timescale and if it goes on too long before you hear anything further then move on to the FOS.

Evening everyone

Took the plunge today :j and have posted 1st letter to Barclays PPI on current Loan £6600 and Bank of Scotland PPI on paid up loan £3800. Posted next day delivery.

2 credit card letters still to finalise.

Will let you know when I hear anything.

I wrote to lloyds 3 months ago with a letter from this website asking for my ppi to be returned on a £8000 loan the insurance on that wass £1600 so i thought if anything at all i might get about £1000. They tried fobbin me of wth 2 letters saying they hadn't reached a decision, out of the blue i got a letter offering me my money back with interest the offered me £2700, i have accepted and im over the moon so thank you Martin :-)

• How much did you get back: Over 900 and £200 compensation
• Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Ombudsman.

Money arrived in bank today after Egg received my acceptance form beginning of August from the Ombudsman.
