  • First post but been lurking for a good while now.

Anyway I managed to reclaim £4500 across two policies with HFC, sent first letter detailing four accounts I had, recieved reply and offer within 2 weeks.

Up held two of the accounts but disputed the other two, accepted the offer on the two accounts and have sent second letter in regard to one of the accounts they dusputed so fingers crossed on that one.

Still a very good days work for the price of a stamp, many thanks to all on the forum for showing what can be reclaimed.

    Cheers

1 letter, received a cheque for almost £3450 today. Took under two weeks.

Thank you to this site. I couldn't believe it. This is going to help us so much as we've just had an addition to the family.
excellent well done, and congrats on your new edition
  • Thanks for everyone's help, really grateful! I 'had a word' with HSBC who have agreed that the money that they are refunding does not have to be used to pay back part of the loan and I can have my loan restructured and it will not include this amount which has been put into my account (and then promptly popped into a high interest account with another bank so they can't get their filthy mit's on it!!)
