Many thanks thats really helpful:T I will keep you updated! From what i have read from others, Lloyds are the most stubborn when it comes to admitting liability. So here goes!!

    Your welcome angie.;)

Lloyds are not the easiest to deal with, I have experience with these as well, was successful in the end, but through the FOS.
Best thing to do is not give up, and keep on at them.:D

However, recently I have been reading some threads where Lloyds are finally paying out directly, so let's hope it will be the same for you, to save going as far as the FOS. Fingers crossed X

    Hi Big al
Just make sure that when you write to them you make it clear that this was a refinanced loan as it will make a difference because the PPI on the first loan would have influenced the second loan.

thanks for that max,wil do that, although im not all that clear with how can the ppi influence the second loan, please explain and how it wil make a difference, thanks for ur advice.

Because when they sorted out the settlement figures for one loan you would have paid PPI already, although they would probably have refunded you a small portion so for example if you paid 1000, PPI on the first loan when you go to refinance that 1000. is carried forward onto the second loan so you would have had to borrow more, pay more interest, and pay more PPI because of the size of the loan. Do you see what I mean:confused:

Am so happy I could break out into song...after more than a year of arguing back and forth with Lloyds TSB I finally have a settlement....I nearly cried this morning when I opened the post.

They offered me £2449 as the first settlement which seemed very low for the amount I had paid so I challenged it and the ombudsmen agreed with me that it didn't seem right. So Lloyds have taken another look at it and today I recieved a letter with a new settlement figure not including the original amount I had already recieved.

I get a further £1300 paid into my bank account with another £1000 deducted from the loan I took out to when I cancelled the original loan with PPI which means I get even more off if I understand it correctly.

Have been singing always look on the bright side of life most of the day....

If anyone wants any help with lloyds tsb reclaims I now consider myself a harden veteran willing to share my knowledge.
