Hello Arthur, nice to see you here again to brighten up our day.xx
    Hey what will happen how!!!!
  • I was successful in reclaiming the PPI on a loan.
The loan was set up by Loans.co.uk, who used GE Money as the lender . The loan was for £5000, with the PPI set at £1,347.50.

I followed the the guidiance of using the letter templates to Loans.co.uk.

I was awarded the PPI total of £1,347.50, with interest paid on the premium £323.48, plus interest of 8% on the payments made towards the PPI £300.16.

In total i was successful in getting £1,971.39

Hopefully someone is looking at your claim and will decide if you have a claim under their rules and then we are assuming if successful we will receive direct to us any PPI and interest already paid and our loans redone without PPI. But thats just my opinion, I haven't spoken to anyone at the FSCS.

I have recently after successfully claiming nearly 3k for a friend from HBOS looked back and discovered a loan I was missold PPI on. The problem is the company who sold me the loan was GE and i know they changed hands. I have no paperwork and when I tried tracking it down on the phone there were no records. On my experian report the lender is classed as Bank Of Scotland. The loan was settled in Nov 2005. Should I write to Data protection BOS?

It may be worth contacting the data department and find out who you should write to in this case.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.;)

  • Dear all,

Just sent back a letter to Natwest credit cards regarding PPI, the total came to 789 over the 6 year period. Has anyone had any success with Natwest credit cards and what sort of figure could I be looking at with this amount? Many thanks if anyone can help

    Hi Antony

I am not good at working out calculations myself - sorry......:o, but I'm sure someone will have a look for you.
I know you should receive interest on top of that as well, so possibly more than the amount you have posted if I'm correct.

There have been success with Natwest I believe.
Have you had the chance to check the success thread.;)
