Hope you are all well, dont know if you remember me as I am the newbie you gave some advice to, I sent my letter off to LTSB and they have just send me a letter today, with an offer of £3700 plus interest. This has taken 4 weeks to sort and 28p for the stamp

Just thought I would say a big thank you for all your help. This is such great news for me as i have to go into hospital soon and this cash will really help out. Many thanks - MMG:j

Blackhorse have crumbled in the face of my strongly worded seconded letter! has taken a while as they didn't receive my letter first time I sent it. However, today they have written back and offered a full refund plus interest. Another £350 odd which now pays off the last of his loan. So far that takes our total up to passed £1800!
still awaiting news of the two barclay cards, they've sent him some sort of form to fill in, so will get that sorted.

The best advice i can give anyone on here is to be patient, and just keep writing back, you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Don't let them get to you!

Be careful with those forms. they use them as a way of getting out of paying up. If you have already given details of why you are claiming mis-selling write to them saying you have already given reasons and they should already have information required. A lot of people don't fill these forms in.
  • Hi all - first post from me.

Just wanted to say thanks to Martin for the template letters and thanks to all the helpful souls on these boards.......have just had an offer from Lloyds TSB of a refund of all PPI premiums paid which amounts to nearly £3000 plus interest.

All it took was two letters :j
