Hi
My claim was with the ombudsman for 18months, once it starts getting looked at by an adjudicator it all happens very quickly, my claim was against Egg and they ignored the adjudicators recommendations so it was passed to an ombudsman who agreed with the adjudicator and told Egg to pay in 4 weeks and im still waiting for Egg to contact me and pay they have about 1 week left and im sure they wont have paid me. Just hang in there, this is a long waiting game for some of us. Even when i phone egg they just palm me off saying they are waiting for a test calculation to be accessed by the ombudsman before they can start paying out. Its delaying tactics at every opportunity.
Good luck anyway

I was reclaiming on a loan from Sainsbury's bank and have just received a cheque for just under £3,500. Thank you Martin.
I used the templates off of this site and received a letter from them after the 2nd one saying that they were upholding my claim.
My justification for claiming was that at the time of taking out this loan I also had two other loans in place, neither of which had PPI on them, so why would I agree to PPI on this one!!!!
The only thing is I have had no break down of how the refund has been calculated. But hey £3,500 I'm not going to push it....0 -

Hi there
You requested for the CCA's (agreements), it should take 12 days for them to post them from the date of your letter I believe, however they may go from the day they received the request.
Did you also enclose the £1 payment for each of these requests, by postal order or cheque payment?
And also post by recorded delivery?
Cheers.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Big Al,
I sent a letter off to Lloyds on 23rd June requesting mine, I just received my loan agreements yesterday. Hope that helps.0 -
I've just started the claim process with First Plus. I took out a £25,100 secured loan in 2006 and the single premium ppi of £6146.99 was added to the loan, so the total was £31,246.99. I sold the property 11 months later in 2007 due to relocation, and settled the loan with the profit from the sale but had to pay back £31,467. I sent the 1st letter requesting all related documents on 26th June 2009, received on the 30th June (3 bits of paper). I then sent the first template letter on the 2nd July and received a response on the 6th July saying "they were sorry I had had to contact them with my concerns about the ppi policy and they were looking into my concerns and I will have a response or update a.s.a.p. but no later than 30th July 2009". Will keep you all updated.
P.S. Does this sound familiar to anyone?0 -
