I have just submitted all mine i had a few loans again with ppi on, after contacting them a few times they found all the paper work, had a text today stating they have sent a letter with the outcome of investigation... so hoping they have agreed to pay out... will await the letter..
out of curiosity did you get the text alerts keeping you updated?
Yes, although when you get the message saying that a letter detailing their outcome is in the post, it still took 5 days before it landed on my doormat. So they're either psychic or employ snails in their post room!January Grocery Challenge 2016 = £119.41/£250.00
Weekly Savings Challenge 2016 = £364.31/£1378.00 26.44%
Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge 2016 #9 = £13.88/£500 2.34%
£2 Savers Club 2016 #26 = £140/£500 28%
1% challenge 2016 = £100 Total saved £100/£10,000 1%0 -

With RBS, you'll get a letter stating how much they will offer you, and a breakdown of the tax that will be deducted from the interest, and then you have to sign a declaration to say that you are accepting the offer, and post it back. Once they are in receipt of it, it will be within 28 days from the day they receive the declaration that you will get your money (and the interest paid will be recalculated so you're not losing out on any interest in the meantime.)January Grocery Challenge 2016 = £119.41/£250.00

Hi everyone. I had a successful claim against Black Horse in 2012.
Today I've received a letter saying during their review process they've changed their original decision and recalculated their offer.
It goes on to say, they've now reconsidered and re-reviewed my concerns and identified an error with the original decision and they will be sending payment by the end of November.
This is completely out of the blue and made my day.0 -
Hi Lula. What was the average balance on your card to get that amount of premiums back?0

Hello amersall, hope you are well.
I thought I'd share my news because maybe Black horse are reviewing all cases.0 -
Its a while ago since we successfully claimed our PPI.............only just found this thread through being mortgage free as of yesterday and getting my first MSE badge:j
We claimed from Halifax and Lloyds both linked to PPI as part of a mortgage and both were many years past the magic '6 year claim' deadline. Halifax was the most difficult claiming they had no records - lucky for them my OH does not throw away any bit of 'important' paper:D. Lloyds just rolled over and paid up no questions asked.
We used the template letters on this site and in total we had repaid just short of 6K

Hi All, Just reading about Lloyds reviews, as I also have had a letter stating that they are reviewing all claims. I had a payout way back on 4 loans and received a letter with a long claim form attached. However I called them and asked if I really needed to fill it all out and asked if they still had the original paperwork. They did have it and said could I just explain over the phone my original claim. I have a life long medical condition which would have meant any claim would have been rejected, so misinformed and mis sold. Have now been told 8 weeks turn around before I will know anything. So does anyone have a clue as to what this is all about? Here's hoping we all get a bit more back. I was wandering if it's because 2 of the loans had been paid off when I took out another larger one to pay off other debt at the time a couple of times, each one with ppi. Any help gratefully accepted

They are re-looking at PPI claims, as are most banks.
It is possible they calculated your redress correctly the first time.
It is also possible they did not and if so, you will get the difference.
On consolidated loans, the remaining PPI from loan 1 is paid back by you in the settlement figure, the same with each loan going forward, they may have got this wrong before.0
