This is what happend to me, it is definatley Barclays.

I got the money on Xmas eve and the letter explaining how much did not arrive until 15.01.13!

A bit strange, but there you go!

My overdraft ppi claim has just been upheld so I am awaiting the to appear in my account any time now.
  • hi , looking I are if anyone can help.
received letter back from Nationwide regarding my PPI credit card claim. They have offer £2857 refund on PPI premiums paid and have also stated interest will be paid when we have returned our acceptance. will the interest only be a straight 8% of the £2857 or is not calculated differently. card was taken out in 2002 and have been paying PPI up until dec ..

    any help greatly appreciated.

So the FOS find in my favour for the mis selling of PPi on my credit card going back to 1995, and have told Lloyd's they believe I've been charged £0.79 per £100 and that they're to contact me by the 4th of feb with a reply/offer........My question is how can i be sure what they offer is what has been taken from me and the interest?????? very confusing

    cheers in advance

    Thank you so much
  • I had no idea I had PPI on my Halifax credit card, until they wrote to me saying they were transferring my PPI to another provider! I followed the steps on here and sent in a claim form, they called 3 weeks later asking a few questions and 4 weeks after that I received a cheque for £1,373! Thanks MSE, before viewing your site I had no idea how simple the process was. Claims now in process on a personal loan, secured loan and car finance loan, all which had PPI. Keeping my fingers crossed for more cheques! :-)

The card will be reset to zero balance and reworked, for any month that the card had a credit balance, you will not get the 8% for that month.

The 8% is on a decreasing scale for each monthly PPI payment that you actually made, I think the PPI monthly amount on a card decreases or increases depending on the balance outstanding, if I am wrong I am sure someone will post to the contrary.
  • Just for the timescale thing for people as i put we received the offer on the 14th of jan from lloyds and today the money has all gone in!

I was going to use the free template to make my claim and then I decided to phone up the company Santander. The person asked me about 6 questions like when I took it out and why etc,
The main question was why did I think I was mis sold and it was because even if I was off sick I would still get paid my wages.
I was waiting then for an official form or so I thought but about 2 weeks later I got a letter saying they were giving me a full refund including interest £4300. The money was paid into my account last week. couldn't believe it.Thanks a lot MSE :j

    Great, bigyjeep.

I have the same need for reclaiming PPI.

However I have tried to look up the company and they now seem to be out if business, so what now?
