I have had my credit card from 1996, and i have asked them for all the charges they have charged me, they have only sent me the last 6 years, is that right or should they have sent me them all going back to 1996 ?
  • Hi all just some info for you.
I've being try to claim off Black Horse (loan taken out 2005) but didn't have an agreement number so too put it mildly they've rejected everything even an SAR as they can't find me or the agreement/loan!! (I did have copy of bank statements & experian credit report to prove the loan existed).
I e-mailed their Consumer Finance Director & Chief Exec & the day after (no less) they have found me & my agreement. They are prepared to uphold it (just waiting for the letter now) for details.
If anyone out there has had the same problems let me know & will send you e-mail addresses etc

I can honestly say I never really thought I'd be successful, but after 3 weeks with MBNA have received a cheque for £3.2k! :j Have claims now with Cap one [not optimistic though after reading other experiences with these] Nat West [ who decided to give us a CCJ when we were in financial difficulty - am especially keen to get this one back!] Goldfish and Morgan Stanley who are both now under Barclaycard [again not too optimistic with these after others experiences] but never say never! For the price of a recorded letter, we've got off to a positive start. I wished I'd done this sooner. Thank you Martin!

  • Hi, does anyone know how long I should expect to wait to hear anything from the FOS. Do they acknowledge your complaints or just get in contact once they've made their decison?

Also had an acknowledgement letter finally from Capital One after about 3 months. Stated they're taking longer than usual but to be patient. Anyone had any successes with them?
