Lol...Lloyds must have been working hard that day as thats the date my letter was supposed to have been sent (not got it as yet). Did you accept over the phone, I did.

Fantastic news, lets hope we get our money soon :D

Yes I accepted over the phone. I can't understand how these complaints are processed & how others have been waiting longer we seem to have been processed quite quickly ??

I wish everyone well and thank everyone for their advice on here - let me know when your letter comes!!

    :)

Have you ever made a complaint against LLoyds before...I complained years ago about bank charges, they told me to get lost and i went to the ombudsman...a week later got a letter from Lloyds saying as a goodwill gesture they were putting £720 into my account...maybe they think I would go to them again?

I dont think they have a leg to stand on when its been front loaded though do they? To be honest I did ring them at least once a week to ask for an update, so that it was on record I was not going to let go.

Hi- no I've never complained to them before , infact I almost didn't on this occasion as I was adamant that I didn't have PPI but curiosity got the better of me. A guy that I work with won his complaint and urged me to check, when they told me I had PPI you could have knocked me over with a feather!

You've done the right thing calling them every week as they don't seem to be in any rush.

I'll let you know if I hear anything more from them and well done again on your success :)
  • hi there
congrats on your offer this is great news for you spend it wisely.
my complaint goes back to 21st june and i had that dreaded extra 8 weeks req by lloyds at the beginning of this month to give me a judgement so today is end of week ten so hopefully not much longer but i dread the answer as its taking to long.
    but good luck to you.

I have been watching all the Lloyds ones on here for a few weeks now. I made the telephone call on 14th June, a letter to say they were going to investigate it 5 days later, I got the telephone call on 25th July just confirming the complaint. The following week I got the "we need a further 8 weeks" letter. Its now past 11 weeks, and I too am dreading it because it is taking so long. I telephoned them last week at dead on 10 weeks for an update to be told they were still investigating it, to have patience with them, and I should receive a letter from them soon. So I am still waiting too.... :(
:wave:Hi I'm new to the forum. :hello: Please be gentle. :j

Did you get an acknowledgement that they received the claim or have you heard nothing at all?.
You need to contact them and ask if they are dealing with this.
