well I havnt had a letter or anything yet but ive just noticed a payment of £3186:beer:into my bank account from tsb refund PPI! Guessing the letter will turn up in next couple of days. Do they normally pay you without notifying first? Not that I'm complaining! Thanks to everyone on here! Only took a couple of phone calls and one of them was on their bill!

Thank you for your reply, my reponse letter had false information on it regarding where I applied for my credit card which made me question if they had done anything other than send me a standard letter ! they also stated they had internal sales notes which I have requested to see. I appreciate what you are saying regarding hearsay but I think that can work both ways and will be continuing my claim ps I did try to ring the call centre but I am not often rude about people but the young man who answered my call was more than unhelpful
hi i also had a rejection letter today from lloyds saying they have reviewed all our paper work ie when the credit card, ppi started. But they gave us the date 13th july 2003 it started, when i have the orginal copy of when our insurance started and it was infact 27th feb 2003?? which is 5 months apart so it makes me think have they actually got the paper work or have even read it properly so confused. also im starting to think they just send a standard letter as some people have suggested as my letter seems familar to others on here ive just forward it all on to the fos now good luck with your claim.

    hi there
my thoughts are the following--i think that lloyds are playing hard ball against people who have already claimed before and were successful so that they aint gonna pay anymore to us.
enough is enough i can hear them sayin.
i may be way off but somethings not right.
i will probably get shot down by amersall /di /moneyinep etc but thats my theory.

    hi
we have successfully claimed and won but we have 2 in at the moment which we thought would either be upheld or turned down quite quickly but this is not the case.they are pre 2000 loans and to date we are 8 weeks and 1 day in.up to now we have never recd any phone calls from them to clarify any concerns they have.
if you need to talk to them ask for the u k based people do not speak to manila. i called on monday thought i ask a very simple question and they were like robots i got nowhere so i gave up.

I was successful with claims for loans with Lloyds previously and then put in a claim for my credit card which I received a letter today upholding the claim. So I have not found this to be the case with my dealings with Lloyds.

Thanks for your reply. I did ask to speak to a UK customer relations person to no avail. I did manage to get an e mail address but despite asking for acknowledgement to my letter I am still waiting. I do understand that they must be inundated but each person should get the same level of service when there claims are being looked at. Well done for your sucsess
