We are the same had our Lloyds letter requesting another 8 weeks 2 weeks ago and are into our 10th week of waiting now, I too am feeling less confident now after reading all the rejections over the last few weeks, still no news is good news so they sat. I'm not the most patient person in the world but hopefully the wait will be worth it! :(

    fingers crossed for you :)

Lloyds Tsb are being a pain for many people. I'm still waiting for my answer of yes or no. Not looking forward to the letter as not seen a happy ending from a lloyds tsb complaint for a long time on here :(

We had a good result, although we did'nt tick the box for ppi, and was a front loaded ppi i still doubted myself that we where not going to get a good outcome ...mind you not had the money yet, probably that will need chasing up.Best of luck for a good outcome:)

  • Well update on my claim! Just rang Lloyds Tsb to see how my claim was going and the man I spoke to said I will be receiving a letter shortly. I asked the question has it been upheld? Which replied with yes it has!! Not sure if I should be excited or not just in case it's wrong information. Should I take his word for it or could he be wrong??? Has anyone else been let down by wrong information given over the phone ?????

How long have people been waiting to hear about a decision from Natwest or RBS? My husband phoned up in the week to check on progress and he was told no decision would be made until 14th August; bang on 8 weeks.

This 8 weeks feels like its taking forever; plus it doesn't help that our letter dated 1st June got 'lost' therefore making our 8 weeks start 2 weeks later than it should had been when husband phoned up asking why his claim hadn't been acknowledged. :(
  • Hi.. I was hoping for a little advice please.

I made a claim approx 3 months ago to Lloyds TSB re: mis-sold PPI. They've written back to me stating that after investigation they do not believe my case to have been mis-sold and advise I can go to the Financial Ombudsman etc... I have their number & i'm happy to call them but was wondering if some kind person who was wiser than me might be able to offer some advice before I take the plunge.

    Hello

May I ask what your complaint reasons were?

Lloyds appear to be rejecting lots of complaints at the moment, I would go to the FOS . What were their rejection reasons?

I have read the stats from the lloyds complaints that are took to the fos and they are ruling a majority proportion in favour of the consumer

I've got a complaint in with them too- I'm not holding my breath but I am interested to know why they rejected yours

    Thanks

    hi jane
good news but what date did u put your claim in?
i believe we are around the same time our initial phone call was 21st june .we have had some previous claims which i checked on around 6 weeks and given info over the phone which was correct so i see no reason why u should be concerned but have patience celebrate when u finally have the DOSH IN YOUR BANK.

    Hi

I rang the bank on the 21 June, had a letter a week later saying looking into my complaint, 26th July lloyds rang me asking to confirm my reasons. Then today I rang them to find out what was going on? And was told a letter is on its way. Asked if upheld or rejected and he said upheld but watch this space.
