calling them is not so bad ....
it takes them about 5mins to read your notes and see whats happening..... and then they tell you what your gonna find out in a weeks time when the letter hits the hall way ! (my +8 week letter was posted 27 July, and i got it today! )

Dont be too downhearted , simply reply to there letter stating the reasons are not satisfactory , adviseing that you have already spoken to FOS and put it on nice and thick for them .

We are the same had our Lloyds letter requesting another 8 weeks 2 weeks ago and are into our 10th week of waiting now, I too am feeling less confident now after reading all the rejections over the last few weeks, still no news is good news so they sat. I'm not the most patient person in the world but hopefully the wait will be worth it! :(

Just wondered if anyone has had a claim upheld by EGG credit card taken out online in 2001 or around that time.
I have been refused on the grounds of
    'I ticked the ppi box'
It was a non advised sale etc....

MBNA have also refused to uphold my claim saying much the same with a postal form I filled out in 2001.
I have passed the MBNA reclaim to the FOS as MBNA admitted that I was not even eligible to claim if I had been sick etc as I had / have NHS benefits.

When I asked EGG the same question - they said they don't know! I will refer to FOS to look into it but in the meantime
I am Interested to hear other peoples experiences with EGG Credit Card

    Many thanks
