I have been dealing with the manager of RBS PPI Reclaim about mine.
Long story about having to get my marriage certificate certified etc.
He called today at 11am and said he would call back iin 20 mins and never did!
I have worked worked in customer service for 16 years and even if he could' nt find the info he needed then at least call back to tell me whats going on.
Suprise suprise when i called them back at 4pm he was in a meeting!
Wish i never started all this.0 -

I know exactly how you feel, even on the very odd occasion when you actually get to speak to somebody, the level of service is absolutely disgusting. I know these people are swamped, but you are made to feel as if you are asking for a handout sometimes.
I was feeling the same way yesterday when I discovered my offer letter has gone into some black hole somewhere. Today, however, I woke up with renewed enthusiasm and resolve to follow the procedure through to the bitter end; it's our money, if we're entitled to it, when it is in our bank account, the battle will seem well worthwhile.
Good luck, hope your fight ends soon and successfully.0 -
i know that this is the wrong place for this problem but i am unable to find any answers.
my son was caught up in the rbs fiasco and is still missing some money he has had to fill in a claim form and send it in.
it should have arrived last monday 16th has anybody any idea how long the claim process may take he has tried to ring but due to work commitments never got through.his situation is muddied as his branch is being sold to santander later this year.
sorry to ask on this forum but i am retired and i dug him out when the fiasco caused him financial problems and i am owed quite a fair sum.
any advice or help please
many thanks0 -

Thank you MSE for helping me reclaim PPI from RBS, we have just received £8,586.75!!
This is for PPI on 3 personal loans we had from 2004-2006. The first letter/questionnaire was all it took and they wrote back saying they would look into it then they wrote and gave us a goodwill offer for the above amount.

They will deal with this, Stephen Hester said that all customers will not be out of pocket, just hang on in there.
It should not affect the claim as RBS will deal with this and not Santander, it is between the RBS and it's customers.0 -
