Amersall,
Just woundered if you could help. I have had a rejection letter from Barclays stating they explained everything to me and sent the paperwork in post for the ppi. On the letter it implies that i went into branch but doesnt state it clearly how it was sold and they havent sent the signed agreement back to me. I am 100% certain i did not go into branch to do this but it may have been done over phone or internet not quite sure which one. I am going to write back to ask them to reconsider but not sure what to say. Can you help please.
Thank you in advance
Sorry i forgot to mention, nothing was explained to me about how much it would cost nor what it was for and whether i was suitable for it.
At least you got reply from them ,i've been on a run around with them now for over 22 weeks, still waiting for there rejection letter, even though they have re sent it three times now,. having to go through the FOS with it ,as they have rejected my claim, and unlikely to change there minds(and only gives them more time to give me the run around).
i'm left with no other choice but to FOS it,(which gives barclays another 12 months before they have to pay out) commom play by them from what i've read on here.
good luck with your claim, and keep going........you got nothing to lose, and we cant let them get away with robbing us of are money.0 -
So I've now had £6000 from Halifax and awaiting further from EGG, Barclaycard, Cahoot, M&S, Tesco Bank.
Great news tonight! Got MPPI back from NRAM - £2200!!
Cannot believe this! I've been putting my debts into a snowball calculator and it's gone from being debt free in 2016 to being debt free in March 2014!!!!
If you are unsure about sending off a letter, Don't be! DO IT!:D0 -

That was that, I thought, won't be hearing any more about that for several months at least. This morning I got another letter from Capital One, apologising that they have not been able to resolve my complaint and letting me know that they'll get back to me within 4 weeks.
I'm looking forward to what they decide, obviously. But it did raise in my mind the question of whether the first letter, the refusal, was in fact just a delaying ploy. Or could it be that Capital One are just useless? Has anyone else had this experience?
Hi ZeroGravitas,
The same thing happend to me and when I called them last Friday to tell them I had a rejection letter a month ago the girl on the phone more or less told me to ignore the first letter. So now I am waiting to hear what the outcome will be this time.:eek:0 -

Does anybody know the address to send a PPI claim for a Capitol 1 credit card? Where can I find the proforma to use on this website?
I recently written to Natwest to obtain a credit card number from I had with them from 1995 to 2005. I gave them my previous address and current one plus the account no and sort code I had with them too. They said they are unable to obtain this number even though it was part of the avantage gold account I had with them. Is there anyway I can obtain this number?0 -

This claim was upheld because something called CRP never heard of this can someone please explain what this is ?
Many thanks0 -
As this card is still running, you only need the card number and reasons for mis sell to make a claim.
If he was a student and did not work when he got the card then he was mis sold on the unemployment part of the card, use this as a reason and look here for other reasons that may apply.

So I do need to keep chasing up the terms and conditions? I'll send off the new letter again.
I don't understand what you mean by 'reasons for miss sell'? From what he's told me, he just received the card, and activated it, and started using it. It's very unlikely someone sat down with him and told him what he was agreeing to in lamens terms."The thing about quotes on the internet is that you cannot confirm their validity." ~ Abraham Lincoln0 -

In regards of NATWEST, have you tried requesting a SAR (Subject Access Request)?
Template letter of SAR below, with details, good luck.
