    Hi phattonii,

Why don't you give them a ring and check they have received your complaints:)

This will put your mind at rest.
  • we have put in a couple of claims pre year 1999 now if i can remember that there is a standard amount paid out on these am i right in thinking in lloydstsbs case that it is £1200 per claim if they uphold.i do not think they would have any paperwork to work with so heres hoping.
also i believe that no interest is paid .
    am i correct? please

    Hi all,
I just wanted to say a big thank you to the people on this website for all the info they have provided which has been of great help! I got home from work today and found that RBS have upheld my cc claim after initially rejecting it due to no proof of ppi on my account. I sent back another letter stating that when i sent of my ppi complaint i also attached copies of old cc statements with the ppi showing. I sent more copies of old cc statements going back as far as 1994-1999. This time they upheld my complaint as a good will gesture for approx £1200 I was expecting another rejection letter so i am very happy with this outcome! :j:rotfl::rotfl::beer:

I also have another claim with them, 2 with First Direct cc, 1 with Capitalone cc and Egg cc now with Barclaycard so fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone else!

Complaint aknowledged 24th April, had a phone call from a nice chap on the 18th May requiring more information on any redundancy package i 'may' be offered and any death in service lump sum i would have received.

I filed this complaint myself using the FOS questionaire on the Lloyds TSb website, 30 minutes work, £1.50 postage, today i receive 7 cheques.....( yes 7 ), for the grand total of........£3953.89

Many thanks to all the normal suspects on the forum who gave me the know how and confidence to submit my claim....:money::j:T:T:beer:

Can I ask how long it was from when you sent your letter back to them with more info to when you got your upheld letter. I sent a letter back 22.06 because they rejected mine.

    Thank you

So far I've managed to reclaim a huge chunk of money from the following:

    MBNA £25,000
    DIRECT LINE (RBS) £7,000
    NATWEST (RBS) £6,000
    BARCLAYS (loan) £1,800

Claims with the FOS : Barclaycard..Virgin credit card (MBNA)

Please take the time and if you feel like you we,re miss sold , make the claim yourself. Lots of help and advice on this site and no need for a claims company..:money:

offered £134 for a £3300 loan paid off over 3 years is this correct?

This depends on the original PPI amount and if the loan was settled early.
If you have the figures then post them up.
